which one should i buy dell inspiron 15 vs sony vaio laptop

i am looking to buy new laptop.
should i buy dell inspirion 15 which is very cost effective or should i buy
sony vaio which looks very attractive to me with great keypad.
they both have same configuration but rate difference is about $200 - $250.
should i buy laptop with screen 14'inch or 15'inch ?
so which one you recommend me to buy.

I recommend Sony Vaio , Toshiba , HP , Panasonic were the best product you can count on but the price is much higher it is worth to buy the said products than Dell.I have Dell but really makes a lot of problems since the beginning such as hard drives keep spinning loudly, I had clean and re install maybe more than 8 times just to make it work. And usually Dell put lower specifications so by the time after one or two years your Dell laptop is not worth for many years to come you are to surely buy another one.

Oh I forgot that I have to upgraded my power unit( from 305watts to 400 watts) because it does not makes compatible to a higher graphic cards(upgrade) that I put in. Then I added RAM from 1 gig to 3 gig of memory that's really gave me some problem to spent money again just to make it more reliable computer.

i think i should buy sony vaio laptop if it has good life.
i like sony vaio laptops because of its good looks also.

great its the place where most intelligent people stuck
and really its a big mesh
But i would prefer sony thanks to its great look
and about the screen that depend upon your interests

I would buy the Sony. I have a DELL and it has been trouble and their customer service is not that great. I have tested the Sony Vaio laptop and it was great, I HIGHLY recommend it.
