In life the most important thing is LOVE. If we love each one another, if love abounds our families and this world we live in, there will be peace and happiness. Just like what the Christmas song "Give love on Christmas day.." We should give love not only on Christmas day, but on every day of our lives. "What the world need is love..."

Well I believe a friend can be of the same importance as a family member because there's children that grow up without having a family and they have to depend on friends. But I still agree with you on the rest. I think that the most important thing in life is happiness and it comes from everything or everyone that surrounds you.

well...for me i think the most important thing in my life that is my family...i always hope my family are all ok, no ill,no disease, be healthy and be happy...of course my best friends i mean the ture friends are worthy of the same kinda importance too...wherever i am i always miss them

The people in my life for whom I will always be there are my children and my husband as well as my mother and my sister. The reason that these people are so important to me is because I know that I wouldn't be the woman that I am today were it not for all of these people. I also have friends that I try to be there for, but I won't go all the way out of my way for them because they aren't quite as pivotal in my life.

I strongly agree with your discussion. As for myself, I consider my family as the most important thing in my life. I will never ever let them feel bad nor feel down. I know that in times of trials or difficulties they are there unlike friends that come and go. Not all people will love you as much as your family could. My family is really my inspiration and motivation each morning I wake up.

Hi Jugs, What you say above is certainly of value, but can you be sure that your children will reciprocate that value. Today, we come to know many horror stories how children drive out their parents into the street after making use of the parent's property. Please do not get me wrong. I am not implying that your children or my children will be the same. But why not ensure that? I am going to maintain your my independence (to the best of my ability) till I die. And after a certain age, why not let your children become your friends. That way you can categorize into friends and general people and not have the subgroups -good friends and not-to-be-trusted friends. You also don't have a need for a children group since you categorize your children as friends......

the most important thing to me is my children,then come my parents,then my partner then my friends,i have a select few friends as i find that if a person has too many that's when arguements and back stabbing start to happen,i learnt this years ago,this is why i only have about 4 friends,the rest are just people i talk to and a cuppa with sometimes

Family is on top of my list. Indeed no matter what happens they will be the ones that can lift you up when you feel down or help you out with any other little thing it is that bothers you. My son is like super important to me because he is a gift from God. I think parents should put their children on the top of their lists aside from family because we are the ones that will teach them every little thing that they need in this lifetime.

Hi jugsjugs, The most important thing in my live is love of God, then my family. If I have those two things in my life, above all other, then I know everything else will fall into place. Life is good when you know that family will be there to support you when you need them, but life is Grand when you have God on you side to fight for you in ways that you cannot begin to imagine. Those are my top priorities. On the lower end of what is important, would be my health, can't accomplish much without good health, having a secure career to be able to support myself and help my family and to be able to remain independent. Helping my fellow man and keeping our planet safe and clean is also important to me.

The most important thing in life is to be happy , because life is one and you have to enjoy it. The happiness of a person influences all aspects of life and if their behavior. If one achieves the fullness of joy will be better with all your loved ones, whether friends or relatives in the workplace, in love, everything.

I agree with you, jugsjugs. Nothing compares to the fulfillment of seeing your family getting the best things in life. My family is everything to me. If not for them, I wouldn't be the person that I am, and so for them, there's nothing I won't do.

Health, Welath and Family these are the three things that are important in life for me. I know to balance all three things is a difficult task, but not impossible. I need to put in my efforts, plan and execute things.

Hi Jugsjugs, I think that the most important thing in life is happiness and contentment. Now, money, a soul-mate, etc cannot be the answer as we want them since we think that we will be happy with them. There's a book called " The bridge across forever" written by Robert Bach. Here, Bach says that we should question ourselves as to are we happy now doing what we ate doing? If the answer is no, then we should stop doing that and do something else which is more relevant to our happiness. But the catch is that we have spouses and children in our lives, and doing something for my happiness but which will disturb them seems selfish Specially-for the child.Id we wanted to do our own thing, we should not have brought him into the world. The child's financial independence should be ensured, by giving him/her the best education you can honestly afford to.

YEah, no matter what, family should always be our top priority.. Because when we are in trouble etc, family will be the one to stand by us, giving us all the love and support we need.. Family love, warmth, care is the richest form of support we can ever have, and it's something whereby money cant buy it.. Though we might have best friends/bff/ buddies etc, but the feeling is just different.. we cant depend on life on them, but family is different as it's for life ^_^

For me, the most important thing in this world is me. ^^ Wait, don't misunderstand. I don't mean to be selfish, I don't mean to be so ego. After going through my life, I finally know that the most important in this world is me. When I love myself, I can love anyone else. I can give my best to my family, and people around me. But when I am not good to myself. No one will. I will be left behind alone.. crying alone in the dark.. and there is no use in that. It's a waste and a self torture.

If I am not going to talk about people that are important and just the things then I have to say that water and air are one of the important things for us as a human being living on this world. Even if there is no light, for example no electricity at all as long as there will be water I believe we are still alive.

Water & money, you can't survive without either one of them. Most people can survive just as good without love, family, kids, and all the other things. But nobody, and I mean nobody, can survive without either water or money.

I'd say family. My family has been with me in my toughest times. Faith should be on top of your list too.
