im a less confident person. Each time when i facing such situation, i would stepped out from the group for a moment and try to get a place where there is only me e.g inside lift or toilet. These place can give a room for me to relax my mind and calm down my nervous passion rather than crowded by people which only makes my mind narrow thinking.

People tend to running away from what they are facing, doing other thing to make himself forget about something that is awful, think about time will past and things will be just gone like that. As for me, i will think that the best solution is accept what you really are. We feel depress and nervous, facing and dealing with them is the only way to solve problems. We can let things bring us down, but we can't let ourselves falling forever. Try to be calm and accept what is happening and then you will only see what the root cause of the problem is. It's important to have your friends and family support when go through all of these.

Music helps me. I play piano and sing and os i sometimes will go over tomy piano and playing will just calm me down. i've always been like that. I could take and listen to any kind of music and it would calm me down. I also tend to like to rent and rave a few times then I'm over it for the time being. I don't know why i do it I just do.

one of my best tool to overcome my depression and problems is the word of God (bible). it really helps me a lot. it contains my daily needs in my daily life.
God is my refuge and strength no matter what comes on my way i'm sure that He's always there to help me.

Medication can help with depression, so can corrective thought therapy from a counsellor. As for nervousness, well it depends how bad it is, some people suffer from Anxiety and Panic disorders which are often sparked by a feeling of nervousness, Dread, fear of bad experiences, and although there is many ideas of how to control these issues the main one is wanting to control them. If you let it win it slowly dominates your life and you miss out on a lot of things, Being a positive thinker can help, replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. Breathing while counting to ten, breathing into a paper bag, these are all ways of dealing with it

how to help your self?
1. if depression persist, seek professional help, the sooner you do so, the sooner you can be in the road of recovery.
2. Exercise regularly
3. Tell those who are close to what you how you fell
4. Pray for courage and patience

Happy friendship day too.
Actually, only last time I posted a similar message here in mylot. I got so much advice and started to get into little by littel and I think it works. They are right, we have to look on the positive side. There are lots of factors involve in experiencing depression, but whatever it is,we have to analyzwe ourselves, let's face it and try to find a solution but in a lighter way. Mske sure to have time with someone whom you can share your thoughts and who can understand you. Take sometime to have fun and divert your focus in some activities to make you busy. Hope this will also helpful to you.

I am never a person who was a victim to extreme depression and nervousness but I once was very depressed and nervous. It might be just a mild experience from the one you had but hey, I wanna to at least say something that might help you. Anyway, I think the only way for you to overcome that problem is if you tell yourself that you CAN overcome them without any hesitation and doubt. You can tell yourself not to be depressed and not to be nervous ever again. Those two problems of yours, I think are psychological, and the only cure I know of is psychological as well. It is what ever you input into your head, that's what your body do. Simply put, think positive and you attract all positive things. But think negative, you get negative things too.
Have a good day! ^^

We all have time in our lives that leave us feel depressed or nervous about something. When this happens to me, my best solution is to find something else to occupy my mind for a while. it makes the task at hand less burdensome that way and i end up feeling a bit better for it.

I believe each person reacts to something very differently. Some find it very hard to get over difficult situations like depression and all. Reading inspiring books are ofcourse a thoughtful deed. Seeking help from friends and family too holds good. Sometimes taking a break would do the trick for me.

when i'm depressed over something that i lost or missed... i cry..that's my way of releasing my emotion and after that i feel a bit lighter..because the more i withhold my emotions...i can feel my chest becoming tighter...and one thing that can also help you unload your burdened emotions is by opening it up to a listening ear...someone who is dear to you and you know who will understand you..that can actually feel better... and of course i find time to unwind and reflect on things.. i pray to God and it never failed to comfort me knowing that God is always there for me... on the other hand when i'm nervous about something... i just do deep breathing...and it really works for me...-)

overcoming depression and nervousness is really a pain to us... Some people didn't overcome things like that... For me the best to overcome it is to surrender it all to God and let God solve it for you... Just trust Him and He will make a way for you...

hi abj I am a diabetic and so I do not want to be stressed. and we all do get stressed out by life. My diabetes nurse educater told us this
ploy, pretend you are enclosed in a stress proof bubble and stress just bounces off it. I do this and it really works. Its just a matter of visualizing the bubble and knowing its thick plastic in your mind and will not let stress through. We all have stress but we can stop it from bugging u s and in my case if I let stress bug me it shoots my blood glucose level way up.This may sound silly but try it as it does work.

More or less we all pass through this depression and nervousness at this or that point of life. Going through this depression has been good for me because it has made me get back into the scriptures more and has softened my heart towards people with depression. Proverbs 4 talks about acquiring wisdom and understanding and the softening of your heart. It is in trying to gain wisdom we acquire understanding and from that comes peace. It is not my peace but a peace that only the Lord can give His peace.
I try to remember to praise God daily. When I do he restores His joy within me. There are many scriptures about giving praise to the Lord. A good one for me today was Psalms 105:1-5. I find my healing in praise to Him.
If you or someone you know is going through depression, clinical or otherwise, seek medical help and consider seeking the wisdom of God, because through His wisdom comes healing.

There were many times in my life that I have been depressed and nervous and the best thing I didnt for me to be able to overcome it, is I really looked for things that I am interested in doing cause doing them will make me divert my mind about what's making me depressed and what's making me nervous.

I have never experienced too much depression but I do experience a lot of stress LOL. I don't really have much thing to share but maybe an advice. Try making yourself busy that you'll forget everything that cause your depression. Mylotting is a big help! You can go out with friends, or try a new sport. As for me, I go out shopping whenever I feel like stressed. So there, maybe you can try to look for something that would make you really busy and yet you're enjoying doing it.
