Are you afraid of 2012? At least the thought of it?

Ugh I hate this stuff. It seems like the world is always ending. There was Y2K, 6/6/6, and now this 2012 bs. I think they're just scams to get people to buy a bunch of random survival crap. If it happens, it happens...but I highly doubt it.

Not in the least. The earth will be here forever. If the Mayans were so smart, why did their empire disappear?

I have heard of this 'world is to going to come to an end in Novemeber/December/ blahblah" right from my school days. If it is going to happen, if the planets are going to collide there is precious nothing we can do about it.So, I would face it the day it comes. After all, all the people in the world and all living creatures are going to sail in the same boat. We will all be together. GOd is always there to save us.

earthquake,volcano eruption; strange high temperature all over the north-hemisphere ,also flood reported in daily news, these disasters happen more often than before, it seems earth to be the end of the day, but I can't sit here to think when will be the day, what I can do is to live my life, and enjoy what I have. maybe I will be so scare, when it really comes. but for now I don't want to spend time worrying about it.

I don't think the disaster will come in 2012. Actually, there are too many unfortunatly things have happend in our word, like the earthquake, floods?high tempreture …….these also let us thinking

I wouldnt put to much thought into this. there have been so many rumours about world crisis's. everyone said that in "Y2K" we would be flying cars and a bunch of crap. Couldnt have been any farther from the truth. i think the ps2 made a debut in 2002? some futureistic world. i have been reading up on the world coming to an end for 2012 and i cant say im sold on it at all. all these rpedictions from years away have such a slight chance of happening. its way to far away to tell if soemthing will happen.

The end for each one is inevitable, so let it come. Many had already perished in floods, fire, quakes, illnesses, etcetera. Sooner or later, we go! That 2012 interplanetary alignment will be a spectacle. Should humankind be wiped out, well, we are erasable!

Personally, I think it is a joke and just another way to stir up controversy. I mean just look at what happened when it turned to the year 2000. NOTHING!

There is no solid scientific base explanation why the world will end in 2012 except for the facts that our ozone layer is damaged and we are experiencing a global warming but this explanation does not give the idea that the world we know will be end in 2012 with an specific date. But that doesn't mean that I'm not afraid I feel fear too you know because of this humor.

Yes, its true that I've seen the CD of Nibiru Planet is coming closer to the earth and nobody will be unsaved according to the scientist predicted from NASA. They have already predicted that it will align in 2012. So, in many parts of the earth, weather is changing day by day. The scientists also predicted that in some parts of the earth, there will be earthquake, tsunami and floods. This prediction is same in the Bible also, this becomes true as we can see the floods in China and Pakistan and in Australia and Russia, many people had lost their lives and properties which was completely burned by fire including the forests. If we depend on Scientists' prediction, no one will be alive. But I must say that we must believe in our Saviour Jesus Christ who has given his life on the cross for our sins.

I don't believe that the world is going to its end in 2012. And I don't think at all about the end of the world, nevermind it's in 2012 or 2037 or something similar.

YESSS, I am afraid of 2012. I have watched 2 movies about it and I am scared about what can happen in 2 years....

I'm not afraid of 2012 and the fear is of no help.So all we have to do now is enjoying every minute.

Hopefully 2012 is going to be another year just 2008 or 2009, well if something is going happen let it happen man, let bother of our present days

It is popular since the moive on, but my friends and me treated it as a discussion about life more than to take it serious. It may need more evidence to prove it is the end of the world. There are more and more disasters, natural or man-made. I think it is their 2012 for the victims. I am afraid of the end of life, no matter whose it is, for I love the life.

It doesn't bother me as much as I did when I was younger. Because, no one really knows when the world is going to end. It may end tomorrow or it may end today. No one is sure. I just try to live each day to the fullest.

I don't care about this. Before 2000 it was the same story, nothing happened, why should anything happen now? When somebody says something that sells and calls himself a doctor or expert or anything else, people start to freak out. The same is true about the da vinci code and other crap that creates mass panic.

No not really. It has become an urban myth that the world is going to in in December 21,2012. I doubt it would something done by nature thought. The destruction of our home world can only be done my us the settlers. The world as we know it is going thought climate changes that was experience few eaons ago then we were not here. However there will come a time that we will experience extreme conditions that are not fit for our existence. Well, I believe people are preparing for the worst. So let us go on with our lives and help contribute to the improvement of our Earth. ^_^
