YES, Ofcourse we can live without our cellphones but it will make our life a little bit harder because our phones makes our life easier, we can communicate to our love ones, ask advices, and we won't feel lonely, we just feel that our loveones are always with us wherever we go and whatever we do even if we are reall miles and miles away from them. I experience not having my cellphone for a week because it was broken and it is really hard for me. Because I was using it as my watch and my alarm clock and when I go to school it's really very complicated for me because I don't know what the exact time is. WE really need phones, it is the best gadget for me.

Me too I was just amazed with it touch scree features that is why I bought this expensive cellphone last year but after using it, it feels like it was just and ordinary cellphone makes no different from other cellphones and I find it lately that I just waste 36,000 pesos for an iPhone. What a waste of money I could invested it in some mutual funds instead.

I agree with you. We can live without cell phone however, it's will be very hard. We need to communicate with others every second and without cellular phones it is almost impossible. This is information age and cellular phone is our primary needed in this age. I can't imagine my self without cell phone.

I could live without my cellphone. I did for years. Cell phones had been out for several years before I got my first one. I wouldn't say that life would necessarily be harder without one it would just be different. The main reason I have a cell phone is so that when ever I go somewhere if I run into problems with my car or whatever it's so much more convenient and probably a little safer to use it to call for assistance rather than have to wait for someone to stop to give me help or to have to leave my car to look for help. Also, you never know when you could have trouble out in the middle of nowhere where the nearest phone is miles away. Other than that I don't really need a cell phone. I think of it as more of a luxury.

of course, but i still love to have a cellphone though. it has lot of uses and it is a form of entertaining myself with all the features of a cellphone. i love this gadget more than any gadget. it is becoming like a necessity sometimes as it helps us a lot in so many ways.

I don't have one and have no plans to get one. I really think people are too dependent on them. I don't think anything is so important that you need to be talking on the phone while you're on the toilet.

For me cellphone is very important nowadays. It makes communications easier than sending a mail. It is a necessity. Any unit of cellphone is ok for me as long as I have load!

Although it is statically known that cell phones are no longer a luxury they are more of a necessity. People have many reasons why they opt to having a cell phone and that is their prerogative. It is amazing how spoiled we have become with technology, but then it has made it so convenient for us. As for me I once last year thought I lost it and went completely nuts, as I have a blackberry and well I have everything in it that I can not retrieve elsewhere and I panic thinking that someone would steal my identity. I wanted the whole world to stop as I could not find it and and wanted to cancel all plans for that day as I was going nuts. I continued my plans but was miserable contemplating where the heck my phone was. Luckily I had not lost it as someone picked it up then emailed me he had it so I anxiously awaited the next day to pick up my phone. So your question could I live without it, NO , as then I would not be able to communicate with my children and this is very important to me as they no longer live at home.

yes we can definitely live without cellphones..our body's physiologic function will not be altered at all... unlike oxygen and other important elements needed for us to live... but life without a cellphone?? i can't stand it... cellphone is my partner... i get to communicate with important people...get in touch with them despite the distance..i can save relevant information in my mobile phone and access it anywhere..it can serve as reminder.., notes, alarm clock or when you're bored you get to listen to music and take pictures...cellular phones are really handy that's why i prefer it when i travel rather than the laptop...=)

I can live without mine. I don't ever do too much on it anyways. Some people are addicted to texting or talking on the phone, but I really prefer talking to in person or not at all. My cell phone is really more of an 'in case of emergency" thing.

I definitely need a phone, most especially at work. Although the need to have a phone is necessary, I hate using it. I am not really very fond of owning the latest model of cell phone. It's just that at work they do provide us free cell phones and with a free credit balance of way over my consumption.

Yes, we can live without them. In the old days, there were no cellphones. When you need to say something to someone you have to find the person and say it in his face. Its makes dating a little bit harder though. In todays world, if you can't say it, you can always write it or sms it. ^_^.

I SURVIVED 6 months without my mobile phone. It was very hard for me. I had no choice. My phone came from U.S.A. all the way to Greece and it was D.O.A. !!! (The Apple logo was scratched a lot). I sent it back and they sent me a new one. No Apple Care iPhone in this time. I gave my old mobile phone to my brother and he refused to give it back when I sent my new to the U.S.A. so I had to wait. For a long time...
