Since I worked away from my hometown, the big problem I have to face is how to deal with the long distance between my parents and me. It is not hard to fly back but time is rare. And after spent the whole life at the town, my parents preferred to think any places far away the family is dangerous for you cannot get their helps anytime and anywhere.
I Love my pareants and know they love me too. But I don't think it is right to just give up and go back home. How do you think about it?

Well,I work far away from my hometown as well but now its like a habit to me to stay away from my parents and I am loving every bit of my independence.I do understand that it has its own advantages and disadvantages but I know you will also get used to with it and have no problem staying away from your parents.I too miss my parents back home but one day or the other you need to leave your parents behind and raise a family of yours rite? Good wishes.

Well I I do live near my parents actually in the same house lol. And I do not work as now had to leave because of school ut I hope to find a job with in a month or so and I hope it will be close from home dont want to have to drive far to it. Especially if i have to work early in the morning god that would be hell with all of that traffic trying to drive to work.

I work and live near my parents. So I've never felt such a sense of longing that you feel.

No. I live about four hours away from my mother and that is far enough. I love the woman, but she has a way of driving me bonkers sometimes...lol I may go home about once or twice a year. To me that home is not the same home that I grew up in. The town has changed since I moved away from it, too. And, it's like now I consider home to be where I'm at right now.
