Life goes so fast. I am now a woman and a will-be mother. How I miss my childhood. To be a child may be happier than to be an adult? What about your ideas?

I think that no matter what we just do not know how to be satisfied in our current situation;)
When we are just children, we want to become an adult because we think that as an adult we can do everything, when we are adults we want to become parents and get old while watching our children growing up and of course, when we are already old we wish to be children again, young and innocent.:)
I always wish to be a children again, I think being a children might be much more fun... No worries and no bills and nobody expect you to do anything, Yet only as adults we may route our life to be what we want it to be.

Hi antilove,
I think if I had a choice, I would rather be a child with no worries, except going to school, doing lite chores, playing with friends, etc. Where as being an adults, you have to experience a lot more such as, marriage, divorce, career, having or not having enough money, having a family, misbehaving children, etc. And, there are some problems that a child don't worry about that are not personal, but are problems of the world, such as global warm, chemical weapons, air pollution, failing economy, and so on and so on.
Yes, give me back my childhood where life were simpler.

Hi antilove,
Yes, that would be nice to be able to relive your childhood and fix all the mistakes that were made. Unfortunately for us it doesn't work that way, so we have to make the best of where we are now, in the adult world with all its problems.

When I was a kid, I had always wanted to grow up quickly. Now that I am an adult, I greatly missed my childhood days. If given a choice, I would have wanted to return to the childhood. Then, the only problems that I have to worry about, where and what to play after school and what is for lunch and dinner that day.

I agree. I am now 21 and I miss my childhood very much. Time passed by slower, now a day is too short for me. I didn't have too many obligations, life was a game. The main problem now is that I don't feel like an adult, I only feel like I am 16 or less. It is hard to realize that I am not a child anymore, but it will take more time.

It depends which years i have to compare - from 1 to 10 it was great for me. I was happy. But when i became 10 i started to realize more things for life. And the life was not very kind with me. When i became 19-20, it was better. I could work and have my own money. I could spend it for everything i wanted to buy for myself. My family was poor before that and they couldn't spend a lot of money for me, only for the important things. And i was very exited because of all challenging things i had to do.
So i like my life now, as adult :)

I would prefer to be an adult because you will experience lots of fun and nice things with your life. you can experience some of it if you are a child but then there still has restrictions. but being a child, you will have no problems because all you have to do is just eat, sleep, study and play. unlike if you are already an adult you will experience lots of things but then you will also have the responsibility over yourself. there comes lots of problems to encounter as well. but you will be more happy being fulfilled being an adult instead of being just a child.

Sure it feels really good to be a child again. Less problems and you don't have to pretty much deal with survival. If you grew up in a normal society, basically all you do is play, study, and some other stuff. But if I have to choose at this point in my life (I am 20+ and single), I would prefer to be an adult and it will be a bonus if I'll have a family to call my own already. For me, being a child means less worries and more happiness while being an adult (especially with a family) means challenge and fulfillment. Of course happiness will be there, after all you can say that it is fulfillment if you're not happy. :)
