I don't cook and never will cook. I just like watching cooking shows, that's it. I just heard a chef say she brought her then boyfriend home anf her mom cooked a roasted chicken and all the fixings and he proposed in a week. Oh well. I guess it is good I never wanted to marry, lol!And G-d help the guy who tries to impress me by cooking. I like pizza more than any fancy food plus I like my meat Well, well done. If it isn't well done, I won't eat it. I am a chef's worse nightmare. So what I say is let her have his heart, I'll have the rest! Did you have to cook for your steady to make him/her fall for you?

As a man, I say that they way to our hearts is usually a bit lower than our stomachs, if you know what I mean LOL

Of course, being able to prepare a good meal doesn't hurt your efforts either. I like food too LOL

I thought the same years ago. I didn't expect to be housewife. But i was guest in my boyfriend's house some months. His mother was doing everything and i started to miss little things i could do, when i was at home. Washing plates and glasses, making myself coffee or something simple for eating. I was cooking at home, when i was little, then i stopped because my mom was home all the time and didn't have to cook. I was thinking that will never be able to cook, but when i started to miss all the things i said, we moved at new place with my boyfriend and i'm the housewife.
Now i can make some dishes and i'm doing everything at home - cleaning, washing, laundry, cooking and everything :) I understood that cooking is not so hard. You can start with some easy things, but you really have to want it, not to do it, because someone else ask you. I'm sure you got great imagination and if you know only some simple things, you will learn easy :)
No i have never had to win a guy with dish, i made by myself, but i can't stay hungry and can't buy ready things all the time, so i learned to do it well :) And i'm 100% sure that if your want to learn how to cook, very soon you will have great cooking skills :)

Thanks but I never want to learn to cook. My favorite dish is pizza and I can great ones in the frozen section of my supermarket. If I Had to eat what I cooked , I will starve. I rather use the money and get something that I know will taste good than try to cook , f*ck it up have to order out anyway. My mom must have known this because she didn't even try to teach me how to cook. So if any guy looks to me to be his housewife , he is in for rude awakening. The only "chore" I enjoy is washing clothes, all others are the reason G-d created maids!

You are my polar opposite. I use never all the time. Thanks for the compliments. I just get tired of people saying the best way to his heart is through his stomach.

It's strange sometimes, how people change :)
This is what i wanted to say. I'm trying to keep the word "never" out of my dictionary, because nobody knows what will happen in future :)
But i'm sure you got something else, something more than cooking skills and you can use it, when you want to win someone's heart ;)
Cooking or housewife is only one more thing women do. It's not the most important :) I'm sure there is no woman, who can be happy only for being housewife ;)

Believe there is two things you need to consider to win someone fall for you. Be yourself and put a mindset of making him/her happy. Everyone has unique discretions, standards and so you need not move mountains just to impress him/her. We usually put inspiration into ourselves inorder to achieve certain goals or even do things we never expected we could. You can't always say you're a chef's worse nightmare. As long as you're under the sun, still there are chances and things that would make you change your mind. Have a nice day!

When it comes to many things , nothing will change my mind. Food is one of them. I like my steak well done, with fries , not a salad and with ketchup. To most chefs making a steak is a huge no-no. Well I won't eat a steak any other way. I rather not eat than eat something served the wrong way. I assume everyone is the same way. Why in the hell would I serve something prepared incorrectly? I won't cook because it would be a huge waste of food.

It is very surprising that we have the similar saying here. If you want to win his heart, at first you have to win his stomach:) Namely if wives can cook well, then their husbands prefer to go home after work. Everybody has different interests. I like cooking and lately I cook quite a lot. I am glad that my son likes my dishes. Whereas not all of my dishes are my husband's taste. But he eats it anyway. When I cook, I just want to prefer a good meal for my family or friends. I don't use it to catch other's heart. Even if when I was single, I never thought to use my this talent to attract a man:)

I will never marry . It is implied that since I don't cook I can't capture a man's heart. That's why I say , let her have his heart, I'll take the rest.

Or you can find a man who will cook for you hehehe... When I got married I was kinda nervous cause I don't know anything about being a wife. But then my husband told me to let it be and it will come to me. And he is right. And because I'm a Filipina and he is a British, I don't know how to cook his foods, so He taught me and I learned easily. It's only up to you if you want to cook or not anyway. And it's not easy too sometimes when the weather is so hot, better to eat out....

I also don't cook that much, so like you if food is the way to a man's heart then I am doomed . I do know where we can eat on a budget but to our heart's content. I can also make a good pasta dish. But other than that, well...I cannot really cook.

Does cooking in the microwave count? since I am single I rarely cook so once upon a time I was a pretty good cook. But I do think you have to practice to make perfect. I'll go with my other attributes hoping someone will find them as attractive as cooking..take out anyone?

Before I married my 2nd husband I had an almost 6 year very painful relationship with him. If I knew back then what I know now I'd never have put up with him. I remember one time when I was suppose to fix him dinner at his apartment and he threw a fit at me because I suggested we go out instead. And another time I remember I fixed dinner for him and I didn't make gravy for the mashed potatoes and he got very mad at me for that. If someone loves you for you I don't see why cooking would matter because perhaps your just a person who doesn't like to cook. I think to say that good food is the way to a man's heart is just a myth.

You are a better person than I. I hate mashed potatoes so since I didn't make the gravy , He would be Wearing those potatoes. I would have poured them over his head and then left him.I tell Every guy up front I don't cook. If they need a cook , I'll wait for them to find one.

Thing is food reminds us of communion, of good times being shared with loved ones, that is why they say win a man through his stomach. It reminds them of home, a safe place to go to when work is hard and life is mundane. I do not know how to cook as well but I am trying to learn how to not for someone but for me since I love to eat a delicious meal.

If it is only through food he will feel at home with me , then it will never last. I can never cook like his mother and even if I Did cook I would Never try to. If he wants the tastes of home , then he better go home. I'll wait for him to come back. So she can have his heart, I'll take the rest.

hi!!
dont worry about it.. it is good if you know some.. why dont you buy some cooking videos or cook books for beginners if you have no clue on how to cook.. or just pre-prepared food.. you just boil it or pre-heat it and you are ready to go... me too is a chef's nightmare.. i love well done steak.. i dont eat anything raw except for vegetables.. plus.. i love condiments, soy sauce, fish sauce, fish paste, vinegar, lemon wedges, catsup, chili sauce... i think some chefs will hate me because of that...
and i love pizza too!!!
happy day to all!!

I love watching cooking shows. I think I could cook, I just refuse to waste food by trying to cook. Why not just order the pizza than try and fail cooking and Have to order a pizza. It is waste of food and money And time. I like ketchup on my well done steak. I don't eat vegetables nor fish. Why in the hell Should a chef cook for me?

I'll bake but I won't cook. if I bake something and iof doesn't turn out , we lose dessert. But if I ruin a dish, there is no dinner. I rather order a pizza in the first place than rind up ordering a pizza.

Don't worry there's a lot of ways in winning your partners heart. I am not a good cook but i become interested in food because of my partner. But, i didn't win her heart because i fed her with her favorite dish instead i fed her with my sweetness. I guess that makes her weak and go nuts over me. If cooking is the secret way to win their heart then the church schedules will not be loaded.
