they say, if you have money, popularity or fame, position, you can achieve true happiness, people try to seek some of these things which they think can provide pure happiness. some also say, if you have peace of mind and if you realize that true happines lies within you then you can find true joy and happiness...how about you? how do you intend to find your true happiness?

True happiness can be achieve by being contented with what we have. Embracing our strengths and weakneses will lead to ultimate happiness.

I agree with Paulapinkikay... ^.^
Contentment is the key. if you all learn to accept what we have right now and do the best out of it, happiness will be easy as breathing. if you are contented with what you have this would mean that you already achieved your goal and thus you wont be finding anything else that you don't have. ^.^

Hi rendhel!
Like you said I believe that happiness comes from within. It's not from fame, money, popularity or position because people who have them are not happy either. If one is happy within, one finds happiness in one's environment as well.
True happiness may be an illusion but is not that really impossible to dream and to work on. Prayers and meditation do help in finding happiness.

I always say this in forums regarding happiness. Happiness is a choice. We can choose to be happy inspite of and despite of things that are happening in our life. Happiness is something we can decide to be.

DO WORK THAT YOU LOVE. If you are at a job that is making you unhappy or even ill, look for a way to move out of it as soon as possible. Sometimes a job we thought would work out for us is nothing like we imagined.
Everyone needs to earn a living but we have choices about what we do and how we spend our times. Figure out what you love to do and work toward a job or career in that area.
It is said that if you do what you love the money will soon follow. Some of the most successful people in the world did just that. They spent time doing the things that brought them true happiness and soon they were doing a job in that area that bring them happiness and money at the same time.

Peace of Mind for sure is one of the best ways to achieve true happiness. Many believe peace of mind is reached when you have money. But they forget that money attract Vices.... and when there are Vices, Peace will never be at such a place.
One has to have a conscience to understand how to be happy. Have a goal - Never harm or hurt any one - physically and mentally. Be Helping to others and True to Yourself. Think Positive. I think all of these will make you a happier person.

most of us trying to seek happiness which we would be contented and some have been traveling just to seek a certain happiness in some other places, hoping that they could find it in other places. some will do everything with all the hard work to reach their goal hoping to achieve all the successes and thought to be contented at it. but i'm wonderin why of all people who seek for true happiness are those who almost achieved everything. rich people would say "if only my life is simple, i could have lived with peace and be happier". therefore, i could say that the true happiness lies on how we are contented of who we are, what we have, and what we can be for others---it is in the sense on how we understood our significance of our existence---we don't need to be somebody else for others to accept us. just enough to know who we are and share it to others then others would accept us, that's the happiness we could ever feel that nothing to be compared of.
