it seems like at the moment everyone around me is arguing with someone,i don't know why people argue,i don't see the point,i say what i have to say and that's that,a few weeks ago it was my friends arguing, then i had a disagreement with someone, even though i had nothing to do with it,i got dragged in somehow,my next door neighbour is arguing with someone,i heard some drunk people arguing last night, and then my son started arguing with his sister,,why can't people just chill out, lifes too short to be arguing,,,and to top it off my boyfriends in a weird quite mood, calm before the storm i think

You sure we do not live on the same block... Yes we all have to notice that the world has evolved so drastically, everywhere you turn someone, somewhere is arguing, yelling and or screaming. I think that everyone is so tense these days it is the only way to release the stress, does not make it right but it is what it is. I have a friend who reads tarot cards and she says the planets are acting so weird these days which is what is making people so tense. I can't translate her astrological planet readings as I have no idea what this all means. But she is right about everyone just being so tense.

Oh wow that is horrible, thankfully I have never had any of my tarot read to me with such bad news. I say this because my reader has been right on the money each time she has read mine and never has something like this ever come up. Thank God. Sorry about your friend.

Arguing is a kind of brain sport, to keep us active in the brain thus preventing us from getting an Alzheimer. Of course this is my own point of view which are not supported with any sciences.

As long as those arguing do not resort to names calling and yelling and shrieking... Thanks for BR.

I have not heard any people arguing, perhaps that is because i do not go out and hear any of it.I tend to stay in alot and keep myself to myself and if anyone ever says have you heard this or have you heard that,no is my answer, that way i do not get involved. However i did have a friend that had something taken and alot of people knew who had taken it and also who had their belongings,as i was the one who had some men chat to a friend of mine,as i knew the friend who had the thing aswell as the person who had her thing taken.I was the one who STOPPED the other person from getting trouble on her door step. The only reason i was dragged into it was because the person was bragging and showing people the thing that belonged to my other friends.Alot of people should think what they are doing by taking from others aswell as not giving things to the people that they belong to.The thing is i was asked how did the person manage to use this thing after all it needed to be charged,i did know how,i could have said, but i said i did not know,so in another way another person could have been dragged into it.I know what it is like to play piggy in the middle, if people involve themselves then it is down to them not me and if people involve me then all i can say is what a sad life they must have to get me involved.

I do notice that there seem to be times when everyon is having a hard time getting along and it is definitely something that drives me up the wall. I've been lucky recently though in that I live in my own little world in my own little house and the only people that I really have to deal with are my husband and my children and for the most part I don't think that we really have a lot of conflict going on with each other.

Although I can't say that there are a lot of people around me arguing righ now, I do share the sentiment that people should just chill. I maybe getting old, but I can't seem to stand people arguing anymore. For me, it's a question of 'what's the use?'. Just say your piece, and people should do what is right. Life is already dramatic anyway without bringing in emotions to every discussion.

Hello doormouse, well i think sometimes or other times we all get frustrated from the way we work, we struggle or just get overloaded. And there comes the point when we just don't care about about who is what and whats going on around us and we start arguing just to get ourselves right, I think its just a normal behavior when we think life is too easy for us it may not be necessarily for everyone around us. I agree life's short but sometimes, in our short lives we need something to peace out from a very hectic schedule, when we cannot make peace we start making out with frustrations and argument. I think you just need to give the people around you some space of personal time for them, i am sure they will be alright.

Though it's hard to take but argument is inevitable in our everyday lives. We may not be directly involved with it, but the people around us. The reason being is that not everyone is born alike. We have our own differences and beliefs that others may not abide with. However, with proper communication, I think this can be avoided. Thus I say, everyone should learn how to effectively communicate so we can avoid arguments.

I think it is because people don't stop thinking and keep on insisting that what they think is right. They don't want to compromise.... If only people would just let their mind rest and zip their mouth even for a day, and instead of arguing, try to compromise and feel one's situation. Your boyfriend must not be not in the mood and something bothers him but would rather keep his argument deep inside him rather than blurt them out and add to the already chaotic situation around you. You, yourself, must try to ignore the annoying arguments and try to relax. Doormouse.Have a stress free day.:-)

I don't see that arguments ever solve a problem. they just seem to enhance the difficulties that are already there.

I don't like arguing one bit when people around me argue I go into my world a peaceful world will there is nobody arguing and everybody gets along just find. Arguing never helps settle a situation in fact I think it just makes them worse. Arguing is noise to my ears really irritating I think that people should just talk it out and not argue, but even though that's out of reach and I know that it may never happen at least I will not argue ever again because I really see no point in it. Have a nice day now.

I see your point, nowadays we could observe changes in our environment and the changes we had is bad instead of good, you can see people argue with almost everything even a little thing would not be forgiven, instead of sharing love, people nowadays always argue and show hatred. Oooh GOD help us share the love and not hate.

hi doormouse yes and a lot of discussions today are so upset that the world is horrible, everyone is evil, nothing is good, all are selfish,' and on and on, give me a break,it made me feel depressed just reading them. This is the same old world its always been, a mix of good, bad, and in between. So what, I feel that it is a fantastic world and I am for one glad to be alive myself. So now people are arguing and wasting precious breath they could use to be happy and contented.

I've just heard a conversation between two neighbors. One asked the other to move the car out of the driveway, the other threatened to smash out his windows.I don't know what's going on.I just feel that people get angry very easy these days. It's a question for scientists why there are specific periods when people act like everything around them is a threat.
