My cousin have some crazy acne. Well, it isn't crazy but it's not really good. He's 13 and always complaining about how he's ugly and etc. It gets really annoying but, I feel his pain because I had pretty bad acne in my teen years. Anyways, ever since his face been getting worse he begin to have a low self esteem which is also hard for me to deal with. I also noticed he had it on his back? Is that normal? If so, what do you use to treat it? He also have these dark spots on his face also (they're flakey-like). Do anyone out there no what can I do for him? Any good cleanser out there for this? (He's also black, I don't konw if that helps to determine what he needs to use for his acne)
Thank You For Your Help and Suggestions :)

Hi, Akatsuki4377. I would suggest that your cousin should use Noxzema or Clearasil on his face. This should help out with his acne. There is an body wash that he can use that will clear up any acne on his back too. I am not sure of the name of it, but I have seen it.

It's normal to have acne on your back, too.
It's hard to suggest something that will help because everyone's individual body responds differently to medicine. Your cousin can always try over-the-counter acne soaps and wipes, or that proactiv they always show on TV. I've also heard that eating less sugary foods can help reduce acne.

Personally I would use the acne cleanser, toner & moisturiser that Avon has as this is the best I have used...if you can't get a hold of an Avon representative, I would suggest the Neutrogena & Clearasil ranges that you can buy in the supermarket.
