i'm going for a further study in uk next year. i've never been abroad yet.
although now, i've been study in another city far away from my hometonwn. i can turning into social events easily, cuz we share the same language and same culture.
however, the coming living abroad maks me a little worry. on the one hand, i'm really look
forward to the new life, visiting new places, trying new kinds of food(all right,i admit i love to eat) making new friends. on the other hand, i'm afriad that it's a little hard to adapt myself into the circles of society abroad. can the differences between culture and the way of life be the barriers of making true friends?

For me, these differences are actually wat makes life exciting. We get to learn from oter people and we get to try different things. It sort of gives a different flavor. Who would want a boring and stagnant life? I think you should cherish that experience. you will be able to learn a lot. you can practice being independent and you get to be exposed to the world. Good luck!

i totally agree with you.. For me, to become a successful man, there is no an easy way and we should sacrifice something and gain something worth for our life. Difference demographic can make senses on how to develop our self on going trend.
Cheer up!!! you can do it....

It's normal for you to worry about, it's being a new thing for you. However, you should be grateful also that you get a chance to study abroad. People normally won't have a chance for that. I guess studying abroad will not be a problem for you, since you already learning how to be independent. Take this opportunity to learn not only the academic way but also the culture of another country. I believe it will be a nice study trip for you . A true friend won't judge where are you from or what kind of culture you been living it, they make friend because who you really are. You won't be the only foreign student at there, try to know some friend from other country also, then you all can give support to each other. Don't worry, we will always hare for support. ^.^
