What Is Your Favorite Genre Of Music?

I love nearly all types of music. Country,rock,reggae,jazz..you name it! I'm not a big fan of 'hard rock' though.. If I can't understand what the musicians are saying, i don't like it. What are you're favorite 'genres' of music?

Like you, I also love different types of music. i can listen to just about anything that makes me feel good, has something new and artistic to it, or if it's something that makes me learn something. Unlike you though, I also love listening to songs of different languages. I really appreciate good music despite not being able to understand the lyrics. i think that's the beauty of music, it transcends through borders. It relays message not just through the lyrics.

Lol! I'm like you listening to music of different languages even though I can't understand them. I really love listening to the different voices and languages there is in the world. Sometimes it surprises me how much languages there are out there and how a person can learn a certain language. I mostly love to listen to songs that are in the language of japan, German, and French.

As for me, I love Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese), Korean and French. After quite a while listening to these music, I really learned a lot not just from the language but also their culture. I even find myself singing along most of the time even if I never tried learning the lyrics. It has somewhat became a huge part of my everyday living. :D

Classical music is my favorite, Brahms, Johan Strauss, Beethoven, and so on. I have a collection of CD's and I listen to them every evening after I get back home from work. It helps getting rid of all the stress of the long work day, helps to relax, and go to sleep well.

i love pop songs and jazz. neither i , i dont like hard rock too. it is difficult to understand such kind of music.
and the sound of music really hurts my ears.

I like sufi,rock music where sufi songs touches your heart while rock songs you jump with joy so i like sufi and rock songs.But i don't like hard rock because i have headace problem.

I like different kinds of music whether rock, love song or country. Sometimes it depends on my mood but in any case music makes me feel good. I am a music lover and music is my soul.

i like Stoner rock, Grunge, some blues, Indie, hard rock, britpop, psychedelic, progressive, industrial,alternative rock.

I listen to all types although I gravitate toward Hard Rock. It just calls to me and my emotions. Fits my personality even. I am with you though if I can not understand what you are saying then what is the point.
