The Indonesian government has acknowledged was preparing "sanering" ie cutting money Rp 1000 to Rp 1 in the form of newly issued money of his series.
Although by the government that's program was named as "redominasi" which explained that its value does not change, fixed the value your rupiah became change as well and people will still be harmed.
imagine! if you usually get a salary of 2, 5 million rupiah, with the sanering program, you just receive 250 thousand rupiah!

yes, you're right. This program is not a short program that can be done as soon as possible. This program takes a very long time in terms of preparation, socialization, even in its execution later. And most important, as you convey, a lot of things that should be considered

hmmm, I wonder if they will do it earlier than we have ever thought.
it may simplify the digits in accounting. but surely, it would be a big headache for all accountants, tax related officers, banking, and not to mention, all the pricing in the markets needs to be corrected to the new nominal. :(

It will be a complete disaster if that really happens. The government should think of the effects to people. First, the number of people living under poverty line will increase because suddenly their salary cannot cover their most basic needs. Next, The rate of crime will also increase. It will be difficult to make ends meet so people will do anything including committing crime. Then, A lot of people will suffer from psychological problems such as stress and depression because their life will be more and more difficult with this decision. So, I think it is not a popular decision and I suggest the government think of the effects before releasing this decision.

yes, this would not be much different with already implemented in Zimbabwe. Until now, which I know this program just discourse that was thrown by the central bank to the Board of Representatives of the people. But, we must ready if this program acceptable.
If this program can acceptable, of course, the prices in the market will follow it. it's just that, the problem is whether the Indonesian community had ready?
