For the sake of friendship here in mylot, do you try to respond to your friends discussion? What is the purpose to have a friend here in mylot?

If their discussions are interesting and fell under my interest then I will make sure to respond to their posts however though I receive many emails from mylot that my friend has started a new discussion I rarely check that but when I come to mylot home page then only I see the posts of my friends to choose which one I want to answer.

My goal is to make friends in mylot there are many members who read my topic of discussion that has been created. And I hope the first person who responded to my discussion topics are those who have become my friends. As a reward, I'm also always trying to be first in providing responses to discussions have been made by my friends

Nope. Since I accept all friend requests, I probably have a Friend Started queue that lists a lot of discussions on so many topics. It will take a lot of time browsing through the list to find something I can respond to. For me, less is more.
Anyway, I usually use the interest icon on top of my page to see if I can respond to something within my circle of competence. But during slow days, I may venture out to search for more in other tabs.
Or, if I'm really in the posting mood, I just treat as writing prompts every discussion in the recent tab and challenge myself to post a response.
