This story starts out with my grown son that lived with me wanted a cat, I kept saying no until one day while I was out of town I saw a sign for free kittens. I sent my daughter up to pick out a cute on for her brother, she came back with the most adorable kitten I have ever seen. Got home with her and gave her to son and he fell in love with her. He went out and bought all the needed items, took her for a vet checkup and shots. He did everything a pet lover would do. Two years later he is moving out and must find a new home for his friend. Through a co-worker he finds a family that lives 25 miles away and they come get her. Three weeks later son has totally moved out and I am sitting at my computer and who do I hear on the front porch....CAT (yes, that really is her name). I call 2 of my other children and they of course think I'm crazy. Son who had the cat reassures both of them that it can't possibly be Cat. What happened it seems (after a middle of the night phone call to new family) is they got a mile or so down the road and stopped at a drive through. When they rolled the window down Cat jumped out and headed home. It took 3 weeks but Cat is back with us, and this is where she will stay! Oh yes, and back to the store he will go in the morning for the needed items again. Has anyone had a similar experience?
