Here here, I am with you! I would like it to be peacefully and content. To take my last breath with a smile on my face.

Drowning is my first option too but since I'm a very good swimming I dont see that happening. I don't want to see it coming. I know that sounds terrible but I don't want to have someone give me a time limit. I don't want to know, just a fast clean end. Hopefully not anytime soon but this is a scary question to think about.

I've thought about this before--I want to die in my sleep.
Here's how it happens: It's some decades in the future. I'm in my early sixties, and I'm happily married (no kids). In the middle of the night, when we are asleep. There is a carbon monoxide leak and we die that night.
Why? Well, I don't want to die and leave my husband alone, nor would I want him to die and leave me. And in my early 60s, I think I'd have lived long enough without feeling that I've become old, or feeble.

I really hope I have a long time in this world but you just never know. After all, a meteor could strike into the side of the planet tommorrow, blowing everyone up. Or we could anger the wrong person, you know, a person who has access to nuclear weapons and that could be the end of everything. All kinds of things could happen today or tommorow or a week from now.
I would prefer to die in my sleep, peacefully. That way, I do not have to suffer. Let's face it, I really do not like pain. Therefore, if I have to die, it should be quick and peaceful. The best way to die is in your sleep when you think about it. That way, its all over in a snap. Still dying is a morbid topic but there is some kind of fascination about it when you all think about it.

As peaceful and as painless in the midst of loved ones, just like you too. And always remembered by family members.

As painless as possible. I think that's the best way to go. Wouldn't want to die horribly or leave bad memories for the family I'm gonna leave behind. Dying in my sleep would be preferable.

i want to die drowning, i know you put up a bit of a struggle at first but after you lose conciousness apparently its suppose to be on of the 'nicest' ways to die. Theres jsut somethin about the water that always calms me.

I wish to die in my sleep, peaceful and quiet, no pain to be felt.
Just closing your eyes and never opening them again.
What really bothers me in dying is the idea of pain and struggle, I have acknowledged long ago that everyone will die eventually so dying without pain would be the least to ask.

we all die..but can we choose which way to die? no...but if we are given the choice to choose...i would definitely choose the painless way of dying..where i don't get to suffer long... i don't wanna die in accidents..or drowning where my face will be deformed and unrecognizable..i want to look totally peaceful and pretty inside my coffin..hahahahha.... dying in my sleep is the only option..hahahah
