What was your first impression when you discovered the Internet?

I think I was pretty much in awe with all of the information that I had at my disposal. There was so many places to go. In fact, there still is. No one in their right mind(or even if they aren't in their right mind as a matter of fact) can uncover everything on the Internet. It was rather intimidating and I wondered where to begin. So what were your first impressions when you hopped on line? Looking forward to reading your responses and thanks.

I don't remember, it was a very long time ago and I was very young, so I don't think I thought too much about it. It was just one more thing to explore!

Intrigued, dumbfounded. You never thought communicating with someone on the other side of the globe could be so real, so cool, so possible. Overwhelming, quite daunting nevertheless.

Yes, people can really get taken aback with the possibilities of communicating on the Internet. It has connected us to the world. My first discovery of the internet was very shaky. i didn't know very much about computers and how the internet worked. As time goes by, i become more and more familiar with the internet. The internet is a great and rewarding experience. We can do so many things with internet sites. i am glad i never gave up on the discovery.@megamatt (14292)

when i discover internet first time I was thinking about fun only. I was not aware about exact utility of internet but after some time I got good ideas that how we could make internet as an important part of our life. I really thanks to that person who invented internet service.
