You hated the subject because it is very hard. Lets add this up that this subject starts after Lunch Break. But the worst thing you can add up not liking the subject is your teacher that you really don't like at all! The teacher is boring, sensitive and super strict, you really cannot catch up from the way they teach you. Let's add up that this teacher has favoritism that is really obvious and annoys you a lot.
Do you think you will still be able to pass that subject?
I'm pretty sure you have been able to pass it all but then how did you deal with it before? share some thoughts guys. Thank you.

I remember I have a class in college (MIT in Philippines ) long time ago with a terror instructor in Math in engineering . I did tried myself to passed even a grade of 3 which is just passing mark but this subject is very hard to pass with a terror instructor. Lots of my friends just quit the subject me I surpassed it , I tried to exercise and do all the learning so when exam comes I'm more prepared. Do what you can and patience is the best way to encounter this problems because you paid that subject already and you cannot quit , never quit my dear friend!

Fantastic! never really quit as long as you are still alive. There are lots of Math subjects that we both had in Engineering. Mathematics is our water in each food that we eat. And these food are our major subjects and we will have to use all the principles we knew in Mathematics. I remembered taking a minor subject which is Thermodynamics and the professor i had is well-known he only knew 5 grades in the class card. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. But apparently I just took the subject because I really have to because it is a pre-requisite of a major subject. that time it is a real timely situation because he joined a religious group and changed his outlook in life. I remembered he would consume 30 of his time for a bible study just before he start his lesson. and we all passed the subject and i got 1.0 for the dreadful Thermodynamics. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

You can quickly lose interest in your performance in a subject when you dislike both subject and teacher. Your chances of failure are greater because you lack the passion to see it through. It can be difficult to face a class each day with ill feelings toward it. You have to find something positive about it in order to succeed.

Hello there! you are right! we should look for a positive thing that will make you somehow like the subject. I will just have to add, we should just think positive that we will still be able to pass that subject even if it is hard and we really don't like the teacher. somehow if we become optimist, we already have a positive ending that way, you will do what it takes to get you there to what you were aiming for.

Hah! This reminds me of my Algebra class in college. Same time you stated.:-) Boring teacher that talks with her back on you and face the board most of the lecture time that I kep yawning while trying to comprehend her words. Worse, she speaks fast as if she's always in haste to get done and gone.
It was so tough for me. I had to spend more time to study on my own to try to understand the subject. As a matter of fact, I went to the extent of I asking my friend if I can attend her class so I can listen to her prof (hers was a different one).
I manage to pass but I gave that prof a failed mark during the evaluation. Most of us did!
Have a remarkable day, Aaron.:-)

Thank you for the response! It is good for you that you still passed the subject from all the efforts that you did passing Algebra. Well if your professor deserves a failed mark then it is just right for him/her. Have a great day as well eurakafemme.

I prefer learn by reading text book rather than listen to teacher. Sometimes when I don't understand I will ask the teacher. Boring teacher won't affected to me. If the subjects were very hard, I will study harder. I will spent more time special for those subjects. However, with boring teacher and hard subjects, I couldn't get good for those subjects.

Thank you for your response! that is great! all you have to do is to study harder and you are correct, the teacher is just there for you if you don't understand a certain part of the lesson. That is the teacher's responsibility to help out the students to learn what he/she is teaching. Have a great day!

Yes you can passed but hating your teacher will not make you something. A friend ones told me that if you do not like what your doing everything will come as bad as it gets but if you try to like it make it happen and do it in well mannered then hating the subject and teacher will never be a problem for that case you got there and all the way everywhere you go. you gonna interact with that kind of situations and running from it will never make you a person you are now.it has to starts with one self. It is reliable enough.

thank you charmlenile. you are correct. dealing with the most difficult subject is like dealing with the most tough situations in life. so if you have dealt with your subjects before and it is just took it very easy then you will be able to handle these problems in life in the future. Have a great day!

Thank you renzmago. Yes dealing with your subjects even if you hate it or not is like having the challenge of your life so in the future we will be able to know how to deal with the most difficult situations that we might encounter. It is not all about the teacher but the way you take the lessons and learn from them. have a great day!

Hi,
During my study time at High School, I hate this Moral Education
subject, It is very boring and the teacher is Super boring
and he is a very fierce male teacher.
Sometimes, I do have in mind to skip his lesson. And I did that few times,
I just ran out from the class before this teacher come in and I went to
my choir class.
Anyway, the teacher never make attendance on who is attending his class,
so my disappearance may not give any suspicious to him at all.
However, during the examination, I still can pass the examination with flying
colours.
No matter how hate I am to this subject, but I will study hard during the
examination.

I can't give any high school examples because if I didn't like the teacher I skipped the class. I have grown up a lot since then and now I am doing really well in college. I have had some classes that I hated with teachers I couldn't stand to look at...let alone talk to.
I have found that in these situations it is helpful to distance yourself. What I mean is that I would go to the class and listen long enough to know the topic of the day and any assignments I would have to do. Then I just tune the teacher out and work on the material myself. In your head you can take the teacher out of the equation and focus on the material. Granted, it will be more difficult to participate in class discussions, but as long as you know the subject matter you should be able to respond if called on and have no trouble passing the class.

Great job! just not minding of the teacher but just the subject itself on how it would be absorbed inside your head. Thank you for the comment!

Absolutely, I can pass and I have to pass. All I have to do is set the mind set that since I hate this subject and this teacher, so I have to use all of my courage and effort trying to escape from this. So I used the thought of wanting to get out of this "Hell" as a motive to find the way.

You will still pass the subject if you will study and work hard. Don't think about the subject but think about the great life that you will have in the future if you finished with your studies.

Thank you for the response crizjordan. Yes, al of us knows that we should pass all of our subjects for our future but then the question is how will you handle these difficult situations.

Of course you'll still pass. Hating the subject and the teacher doesn't mean you don't know what the subject is all about. After all, your teacher doesn't give a damn if you hate him'her or not, what counts are the results. In the end, you still have to pass it. You'd just be wasting your time being in that class that you hate if you'll just fail. (what was the purpose of you being there in the first place) What subject is it anyway?

Thank you babz02 for the positive insight! You are absolutely right that you will just waste your time and effort if you fail your subject just because you hated your professor and the subject as well. The subject I hated most is Filipino (our Language)

ahahahahaha That is very ironic. Well, I didn't like it too, I failed once in that subject because I don't actually go to this class. (lol) But eventually, I realized that wether I like it or not, I have to pass the subject if I want to graduate. I found out, it was that easy after all. =)

Back in college, I'd rather sleep in my room rather than spend a useless hour in that class. I'd rather take a risk in choosing another teacher in the next semester. heheh...
I know it's not a good example, but that's what I did. :D

If it is not obligatory course, I'll skip it. If it is, first I will hide my attitude, I'll never let the teacher know I hate him and his class. I'll try to guess what will in the final exam. Usually the teachers don't like blocking us because it is also a trouble for them to let us fail. That's the condition in my country. So in most cases we can pass through the edge.
