Regretfully, I am saying goodbye to MyLot. Basically, MyLot is not what
I thought it would be. An interesting site in which to participate, and earn.
I would like to thank the people who responded to my responses, and I
enjoyed responding to the people who really wrote interesting and profound. discussions.
Unfortunately, for me, MyLot is too time consuming for the pennies. In addition,
some of the discussions are not worth discussing in my opinion.
It is ironic, because I use, and write on Yahoo Answers for free. It is rewarding just helping people with your knowledge, and finding answers to your questions on every topic.
Sincerely,
Iequate2

Hello Iequate2. You should give Mylot a chance, you have only reached 25 posts so you're just starting. I've only been here a short time myself and yes sometimes it's hard to find good discussions. When I first joined I thought the same as you but I soon changed my mind because there are some nice friendly people here who will make you welcome and give you good advice. When you really get going on here you won't notice how much time you're spending, the time goes so quickly. I used to use Yahoo Answers but what's the point of all that effort and no reward? At least you get paid on here, yes you have to put a lot of efford into it but the reward will be there, it's up to you. If I were you I'd stay and give it a go, don't give up just yet.

Thank you AutumnGold. I thank you for your support and friend add.
I was a little frustrated, but you are correct, it is fun, and there are
really nice people here to communicate with. That is why I thanked
the people who I communicated with. I will continue. :)

I noticed you only added one friend, you should add more friends then you'll be alerted to discussions which interest you and in time you'll build a relationship with those friends and it will be social instead of hard work. I've invited you

I guess you're putting too much importance into the 'earning' bit. You have fun and when participating, then the money comes, ofcourse unless your comment is deleted.
If I were you I would really have given it more time, just come on mylot when you feel like it not force yourself because you want to earn money. I guess you have different intentions but I wish you the best of luck making money online :)

Hi, Iequate. I am sorry to see you go. Mylot is a fun place to be. Even if the money is not looking so grand, it still is a place where you can share your ideas and feelings.. MyLot, has really helped me in so many ways. And I hope that it can help you too. I hope that you will join us again if you ever change your mind...

Hi Iequate2,
seeing the number of your posts i don't think you have spent much time over here. I am sure if you continue, you would make more friends and have a real nice time out here. There is no reason for you to leave this place, you can come whenever you have free time. I was on internship and i was absent for more than 3 months, i was so happy to come back to my friends. Just stay and you will realize, just come on your free time. It's fun.

I wouldn't ever suggest leaving mylot because mylot has a lot to offer to those who are patient. Sure you dont get paid as much as you would like a day but once you understand the potential mylot is as good as gold. I have learned something in mylot for free that cost people hundreds of dollars to learn. A lot has been finding good money making sites and strategies but some more useful ones like Seo and article writing were a few to mention.
You haven't been here at mylot long enough to realize the potential but maybe some of the older members can help you.

Is an interesting site in whcih to participate and earn your goal? Or what you found here and it was somethign else you were after?
I personally am a huge fan of mylot. I was looking for that interesting and fun way to earn money through my thoughts, opinions and questions and found it here. I have made many international friends and some money along with it.
Yes, I do find it pretty time consuming for pennies a day but taht is basically all you can expect from an online free program such as this. I dont mind it at all. It's free money in my opinion and this is MUCH more ibteractive that doing a blog where you may never see or talk to another human through.
Maybe some of the discussions are not worth discussing to you, but to others it may be whihch is why I find this site good. It gives EVERYONE the chance to make tehir mark adn say what's on their minds - even if they cant do so in real life.
If you use Yahoo Answers for free then why is this so much worse? I eman they are practically the same except on MyLot youa ctuyally earn for your input and, again, it's much more interactive in the conversations we have.
What do you prefer in Yahoo Answers???

Hi Iequate,
I have read your discussion and other’s responses as well and I am glad to know that you decided to stay back. I can relate with you, once I joined here and left the place without getting success but I have not told the same to any mylotter. I had a break of one year then I return to this site again and my second term was good and I succeeded in making money, getting friends and learning many things from this beautiful site. I know many people felt the same like you in the beginning and the reason is nobody there to motivate but once they started to create good friendship with other members they never think to leave the site or they never feel desperate. I hope you will also make friends, earn good money and learn from the site. Good luck.

I understand your reasons for leaving. I left for a while too. But IMO I have been on another forum now for 7 years they pay me nothing to do what I do. And frankly for as much time as I spend in forums I'd rather get a lil something than nothing for my efforts.
GL to you!

Hi Iequate2,
Sorry to hear that you are leaving Mylot, especially after such a short time. I stopped participating for a while and now I have decided to come back. Since early June, I have being participating and things are going pretty well. I don't expect to get rich here, but it is an outlet for me to express myself, with posting discussions or responding to other discussion.
I think people are disappointed if they put too much faith in these money making sites. NO one will make a decent wage here on these sites. I have just decided that it is an extra activity for me. I am saving all of my earnings from all the sites, and I have some decent money in some of them, for Christmas shopping.
I hope you will find the sites that you are looking for. Or perhaps you will venture back to Mylot, like I did.
Take Care

Oh, dear... With only 31 number of post and here you are saying goodbye already...
You must reconsider and give Mylot a chance. You haven't been here enough to decide it isn't worth of your time. Why don't you give it a thought first stay a little longer and see what happens next?
Goodluck to you and God bless...

Sorry to hear that! I used to go on Yahoo Answers all the time - but I lost heart over there because of the trolls, thumbs downing, bad reporting system, etc etc. I am more of a "chatterer", so I like it better here on myLot - and as you know chatting is not allowed on Yahoo Answers. With YA!, everyone is points happy and want to climb up the leaderboard ladders . . . for me I just wasn't interested in all that anymore. Good luck to you wherever you go.

After this what do you plan to do with your time? mylot is not actually a site to make you rich it is place for you to enjoy I might suggest that if you want a good discussion why not start your own, a questions that you knew the answer is also better you might find it very interesting when people start giving their opinion.

It is always hard to see individuals leave a community. I have only been on here for a little over one week and I have seen the sincere desire in many of the mylot community to help others. I have seen members share their earning potentials with others and giving advice as to what sites to avoid. Sometimes when we are in need it is true that things get frustrating, but truth be told, if you can do it for free, you can do it for pennies. Almost the same right? Give it a little more time, sometimes spiritual fulfillment will motivate one to achieve one's goals.

Thanks for you response deve_annrn.
I did not use the term worthy. Also, I did
state that there were nice people here on MyLot,
and I thanked them. I just thought it would be
more lucrative for the time spent that's all.
I am staying nonetheless... :)

You really haven't been here long enough to make that judgment call in my opinion.
I've been here for years, it's had its ups and downs, but when you post more than a few lines or create a post with more than a few lines, the earnings do add up quickly.
I have been off and on for the past year, but work keeps me busy and I don't always have enough time to post.
But give it more time, you'll be surprised how it grows on you.

This is an early decision....U have made 25 posts and telling it's not a worth..
U should try 100 posts and if u still are bored maybe u should decide, but coming in for a few days and leaving without exploring the full website isn't good at my level..
Give a try!!

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with Mylot community. I know we have different levels of expectations from this site. I haven't earned a lot from here either but am satisfied because this is where I get my ideas from. I have discovered a lot of paying sites from here, too.
Anyway, good luck my friend.

I know how you feel because I had felt the same way before, frustrated because earning is so slow and a lot of mylotters didn't meet my expectations. But I diverted it to somehow challenging. My friends are so diligent and they earned almost $40 though mine is so far to compare. DOn't give up many of us here wanted to have a good discussion to respond to or either start a good discussion then. I hope you'll change your mind.
SMILE ! =)

I have to say, you haven't given it enough time! Mylot can be very frustrating, I know. Especially at weekends when there seems to be absolute rubbish posted and you can't find a decent discussion to respond to. But, there are good topics and good people here. You just have to wait for the good ones to come along. Of course, there isn't much earning potential unless you, yourself, participate in the dribble! Then, most of us don't go for earning, it's the fun of it that keeps us here.
Even if you must leave, don't make it so permanent. Drop in from time to time.
I wont say goodbye.
