I don't get all they texting that is done on cell phones. Everywhere I go I see teenagers especially with their heads down walking down a busy street, too busy to watch for cars. Whats more important, telling Suzie to tell her boyfriend to take a hike, or getting seriously injured by a vehicle.....

It's just like that nowadays. It's the time of technology and texting is one of the biggest things in the world for young people since it's how they keep in touch. I think only idiots don't watch out for cars but people are addicted to chatting and it's just how it is in this day and age mostly among younger people.

Well it has become an important part of communication now. It's easy, very fast and cheap. Nothing really seriously wrong about it, except for those people who can not pay attention much to the real world while texting.

I think texting is a danger to society. Not only do texters tend to text instead of paying attention to where they're going and what they've doing... but their communication skills are deteriorating at the same time. Seriously... do you see all the text-speak going on outside of the phone? It's ridicules. One of my college teachers says she had students turning in their research papers like that. That's pathetic!
