Care Packages

Today I got one of the best care packages I have ever recieved. My mom, who lives out of state, thought I needed a little pick up because of recent stress in my life. So she sent me a $10 Walmart gift card for chicken, two bottles of seasoning, and a recipe for her "Fall Apart Chicken" dish. It's called Fall Apart Chicken because that's what it literally does- falls apart with the touch of a fork! I was so excited and it really made my day! One of the bottles of seasoning is Chef Paul Prudhomme's Magic Seasoning Blends-Poultry Magic. It's a great seasoning to cook with, he has other seasoning blends for veggies and red meat I think. Has anyone else used this seasoning blend or any others of his? Do you like using this seasoning blend?

hi sadie when my son and I were having some tough times my best friend Nelda would make a care package of things she knew I loved and when we wento out on out every other Wednesday night to burger King she would hand me this sack of goodies. That was the neatest thing anyone had done for me lately.She knew I loved shrimp so there would always be some shrimp in the sack and my favorite whole grain pasta Bartellis with omega oils in it and added protein.We always have helped each other and its been twenty years we have known each other and our sons are adults well into maturity. I have not been able to find Prudhommes Magic seasonings, the best I have done is the various Mrs.Dashs seasonings.

:) Mrs Dashs seasoning has been my best friend until I got this seasoning from my mom. It makes everything better!

That was awful nice of your mom to send you a lil care package! Even better that it made your day! I have never tried any of his seasonings. I usually use Natures Seasons by Mortons for most of our cooking in my house.
