What is your favorite season to visit the park? Mine is spring, I love taking my camera and photographing flowers and trees in bloom. Winter can be great too. Especially after an ice storm that isn't severe- the icicles and ice covered trees look amazing in the winter sun!

Hi Sadie1675, I could imagine how fascinating the scene in the early spring season. The blooming flowers, green leafy trees, grassy lawn, etc look really beautiful in the sunshine. I envy you as well as people who live in the temperate countries could enjoy experiencing the four different weathers with their respective landscapes and surrounding.
We, people from the tropical countries having the same surrounding environment all the year round. We have only the dry and wet season. Therefore we could visit the park at any day we wish, even during raining day. We seldom have rainstorm here. It's a great pleasant feeling to walk in the drizzle in the park. The near mountain, trees, flowers, ponds, etc look really fresh in the drizzling. The air is so cold and fresh as well. If we like we could enjoy the fun of canoeing on the pond
Have a nice day

Try to extract few hours or a whole day to get yourself refreshed once in a while during each season with its unique scenic landscapes. We don't have winter season here and we could experience such amazing snowy situation either spending a big amount of travelling expenses having winter vacation in foreign countries or visiting the manmade snowy park in the famous mountain top recreation entertainment city here.
Take care and wish you all the best

That sounds so beautiful lkbooi! It is nice to experience the four seasons here, but sometimes they don't last long enough for you to really enjoy them. With a busy life and hardly time to enjoy each season properly, sometimes it just seems like a tease from mother nature. lol Your country sounds so beautiful and some of the pics you have are wonderful. Thank you for sharing!

Malaysia is summer whole year round. I will visit the park on weekend.
Normally I will have s slow stroll and admiring the plants there.
However, my wife and my son prefer to go to the mall instead, for
the air conditioning as the weather here is extremely hot right now.

I enjoy visiting the park in 3 out of the 4 seasons actually. Spring is great because you can see everything in bloom and it finally feels warm enough outside to go to the park! It's fun to go to the park in the summer just as something to do. And finally fall is a beautiful time to walk to the park seeing all of the brightly colored leaves on the trees - gorgeous! Winter is my least favorite time of the year to visit the park because it's so cold and often snow filled!

The place I wish I could go back to this fall is Boston. The parks there are beautiful during that season- the colors are brighter than anything I've seen. Fall can be a beautiful time of the year no doubt!

There are practically no parks where I live. At least, none of the scale found in other cities where large crowds can be accommodated. But there are open spaces in the mall nearby where concerts could be held. Usually, they are surrounded by greenery and may be considered as some kind of park.
But we do have mountain trails or beach fronts that draw large crowds during summer or certain seasons. Mountain locations are ideal for kite festivals and hiking. And beaches are great places to cool off during summer.
Anyway, we only have two seasons in my country: wet and dry. So, the foliage of trees and the flowers don't change that much in appearance.

I like to visit the park in the summer and in the spring. In the summer, the park rides are open. Our local park has a ferris wheel, train, carousel, swings and roller coaster for older kids. For the younger kids there are cars, missiles and airplanes. Of course they also have the typical playground equipment. The swimming pool is open and is a decent cost. We also like to sit by the pond and feed the ducks and geese. In the spring, the rides aren't open but it is cooler and my son enjoys playing there.

I wish our parks had that stuff!! Looks I'm moving! Just kidding- that's great though that they have all those rides to enjoy. One of my nieces' favorite things to do is feed the geese and ducks, but she gets scared and runs away if they get too close to her. :)

I love visiting parks during spring and summer. Summer, because that's the best time for a hike or trail run. Spring, more like a stroll. Taking the time to just admire nature and breath some clean air. I rarely take my camera with me. I feel like it gets in the way. I feel like I get too worried about trying my best to capture the feeling of being out in the park - and when i look at the image, it's not the same.
