For example, man beats woman and woman responds when asked why she does not leave, "but I love him." Yet she feels fear, pain, and unhappiness. Perhaps because of the influences to her past development she relates love with these feelings. Many of us would agree that that is not love, but to her it is. Many people relate love with physical fulfillment. But again others may argue that physical expression of love is only a manifestation of our emotional perceptions of love and therefore may lead to fulfillment or not depending on how we truly feel. For those that are truly in love, they will agree that physical fulfillment is only one element of true love. Many people go through love without ever experiecing true love. And so if you are having so much trouble with relationships, perhaps you should look inward at your perceptions of love and seek individuals that share these perceptions. Love is not only loving but being loved because when one feels loved, one's love grows. In my experience, I think love will eventually come when two people's souls equally touch. But maybe that is why I am still single.
