what's the meaning of neighbor?

nowadays, people living next doors even don't know each other. this is one of the most common phenomenon in my hometown.i don't know whether people in the other places are also the same? how do you think about this problems? in my mind, neighbors should often visit each other and have a talk with each other, this is the basic thing for the neighborhood.but in face is really out of my expectation...

People who stay near to our doors and share everything when we face any problem. We can guided to each other and also we are helping in work in order to finish the work very first. What ever we face any problem we used to share among each other to help,we are living as like our one family. We never used to fought each other.

I agree with you but what I don't get is if the neighbours don't talk to each other how is it that they can have a neighbourhood watch. When I was a kid my whole street knew each other but now nobody cares who is living next door. My own neighbours are a good example, one side can't speak english and the other side deliberately causes trouble with us, yet for some reason my street has a neighbourhood watch system when we don't know anyone. Wouldn't these things work better if the people involved knew those in their street.

those people just look at their neighbors and walk away, they don't speak anything...sometimes i even find this kind of thing is really funny you know...

Neighbor were the people who live near to our doors and we will be sharing the same surrounding and we will safe and guard each other and if any problems comes and have than we will be helping each other .we were visiting often and sitting together and we were having soft communication .

this is really good. i really envious about that. originally, neighbor should like that, but you know nowadays people are very busy and they don't even walk out their doors to visit others, let alone a communication...

A person who live next or next to another. It can be at your place or it can be also in class rooms in the college.

Neighbor is those people who live near your place. Where you know then, and pass your time with them talking and chat. We visit their home often and share every thing as we do with friends.
