Rant on immigrants .... sorry

Hi friends,
I have just seen two items on the news that really p....ed me off.
The first was another child that drowned in a swimming pool.
I know from watching people. I live right near the lake. These people do not watch their children. There are so many of them that one thinks the other is watching and no one is watching and before you know it, the child is gone.
The second item was an accident on one of our highways. These pakistani people were in a van (which holds 14), no 23 of them in the van. That is just radiculous. When you come here you have to follow our laws. This is not your country where they just don't care whether you wear a seatbelt and if there are 50 people in a vehicle.
I don't really mean to profile, I'm just reporting what I see.
These people need to smarten up.
I've also often wondered why they travel in droves??? what is up with that. Whether they are at a doctor's office or a government office, the whole damn family piles in.
Well thats my rant. If you're offended, I am sorry but people, use your brains. I know God gave you those.

Okay, that whole 23 people in a van thing is just crazy. How the heck did they fit all those people in there? But you do have a point. It doesn't matter who it is, people should respect the laws and abide by them. They are there for a reason. Things might be different in their country but once you are in a different country you should follow their laws. It's like that old saying, "When in Rome, do what the Romans do." or something like that.

Hey Cheryl, the way I see it is this, if the damned shoe fits WEAR IT! If it's Pakistani's then it's Pakistani's.... if it's this or that race then so be it! Call it what it is. It's not racial profiling or what ever, it's calling it what it is. When these people come to our country, they ARE to abide by our laws or get the hell out! Simple as that! Just as we would have to if we were to enter into their country. If one is to be offended, they'll get over it and if not then they'll get under it.
