I never married so I loved to work. I chose my career and worked hard to go up the ladder the hard way.....good work and not good "deeds". Work was a challenge for me...especially because I had to compete against men. When I retired I had over 3000 hours of sick leave on the books which I lost. I so lost so much annual leave I can remember how much. I could accumulate up to 45 days (9 weeks) a year and anything on the books over that figure was lost. Happily though I was compensated for that on retirement at the current hourly pay. It was a nice nest egg. PS: the worse part about take leave was that when I got back to work I needed a vacation from the vaction.

I also work to live and if you find yourself live to work then you need to be more optimistic and maybe try and get a job that you that you can enjoy while not just working for money.
