If United do not have lots of injuries in this season, I think they will be able to win as many trophies as they want because one of the main problem that make United lose in the previous season because they have many unbelievable injuries so that Sir Ferguson had to once set Fletcher and Carrick as defenders in the match with Fulham and all of us had know what the result is........

As much as i love Manchester United, i know that its going to be more than a daunting task for them to become the champions of Europe. Manchester doesn't look the side they were 2 or 3 seasons back, they have no prominent midfielders; the likes of Nani, Anderson and Fletcher cannot be relied upon with their inconsistency. Berbatov was the worst buy for United, with the money we spent on him, United could have gotten a striker twice his capabilities. Realistically United doesn't stand a chance!

I think last year proved to be the emergence or the return of the continental giants back in the Champions League. With Inter, Barca, Bayern and Lyon all doing well, I think this year is going to be real great season again in Europe. Man U will be a serious contender, but I think this season they will struggle especially in the middle of midfield as both Scholes and Giggs who are the most lively of their midfielders are really aging and younger ones have not yet come to the party. Cheers! Ram

It is far too soon to tell who the real contenders for Champions of Europe are. I know Barca and Real will possibly be stronger this season, as will Man Utd, but other clubs such as Chelsea and the Italian clubs could surprise us too. For know we can only wait and see how the new Man Utd players adapt and whether the old players have improved or lost skill. Whatever happens, I can't wait to watch the matches!
