Beauty or brains / myLot

This has been a perennial topic buzzing around tinsel town but still I find myself questioning.Is having brains really better compare to having a beautiful face or is it vice versa? We now live in a world where people judge you on the package you present and not on the ideals you represent.If having brains is much more important than having beauty,then why is it that most people would judge a person on how they look.Does that mean that we all have gone superficial?Why would some people undergo excruciating surgical procedures if beauty is not that important?hmmm...over the years, i've only heard both men and women answered they prefer brains than beauty,in such sense that beauty is superficial and is deteriorating as we age.But here lies the crux,if beauty is that superficial why would employers choose a stunning miss universe over a smart betty la fea in a position?Why those people not so blessed with looks will only fall as comic relief for all? I guess,people were not true enough to answer honestly.If having brains is such a great feat,why is it the the most celebrated people in the world are not those brainiacs but those gods/goddesses?is beauty that superficial?I,myself once answered i prefer being smart than being beautiful but as i age,i accomplished great deal from my education and was given merit out of my "being smart"but then i long for something that beautiful women experience.That made me think twice....

There is no link between these two. Both are different aspects. One is physical appearance another one is related to brain. Also beauty is a relative term. As the popular saying goes "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". So you really can't compare these two. Same way the brain you are talking to. It also a relative term. I'll give the example of great scientist Albert Einstein. In his science lab there was two holes. One is bigger and another one is smaller. One of his friends asked him about that. He told that there is a cat in my lab which has a small kitty. So the big hole is for mother and the small one for it's kitty. So the genius in one field may not be same in all the fields. If you agree with these both concepts then there are lot of beautiful people who are intelligents too. See the beautiful doctors, Engineers, Actors and actress, Businessmen. (Off course in all the fields you can find them) The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.
