I have to say that I'm a night person, but I really don't go out a lot at night. But I can work well at night, My mind is very much awake than that of the morning, I mean I can wake up early and do chores in the morning. But at night I feel like I have more energy and can stay up late. I used to work in a call center and the Grave yard shift was not a problem to me.. How about you? Are you a morning or night person?

I am a morning person, I look at it this way the earlier I wake up the more I can accomplish. Once I see the clock strike twelve noon well I feel the day is gone.

I am a night person. My husband and I are both night people. I like the early morning and late night the best. My husband actually works third shift, so I stay at home and tend to things that needed to be tended to as well as get online and earn some money. The night time seems to fuel creativity for me actually, and I love it.

Yes and to think four years ago had you told me about the possibility to earn online I'd have hardly believed it.

hi ivygrey I a m definitely a night person which makes it hard to have to go to bed at tenpm and get up at 6 here in gold crest retirement center. I can mylot like crazy from five to ten oclock and before I came here I stayed u p til around one p m mylotting. I also wore in the morning and afternoon some but do my best in the evening, I used to work as a nurses aid and was on the 3 to 11 shift which I loved. and the night shift at time. now I am old and retired. But I am still a night person.

Either night or morning! I mean it depends. There are some days I can't sleep, so I stay up late and work, very effective indeed. But there are some time when I feel very sleepy, I go to bed early, and wake up early in the next morning too. At that time, working can have fruitful result.^^
However, I don't like to be a night person, cause staying up late ruins our health badly. Encourage everyone to be morning ones!

I totally agree with you when you said "but at night I feel like I have more energy and can stay up late". I feel the same way too. I feel so ambitious and happy and it looks like nothing is difficult in the world and It is such a vibrant feeling. There are days when I got up early, when I had a job or when I went to school/college, but now as a housewife getting up early is difficult, even if I get up early, I feel something is not perfect, I feel sleepy all the time.

Hi,
Maybe I can categorized myself as a morning and night person.
I can wake up early to do my housechores and have an early sleep
at night to get myself have a full rest after doing things
for wholeday.
I can stay late at night till early morning to surf net,do blogging,
facebook-ing,chat with my friends.
I used to stay up late till 3am before my son attend his school.
But nowadays,I hardly stay uo late, I sleep at 10pm every night,as I need
to wake up early in the next day.

I consider myself to be more of a morning person. When i get up in the morning, i am usually ready and eager to start my day. When the evening comes, i am ready to relax and unwind. I am not a party all night person so the morning is my time of day to do what i like to do best.

I'm not a morning person but I'm not a night person either. I don't know? Maybe both? I worked in a call center and I've been through different shift and I never noticed myself being morning buddy or night guy. I hang-out in different time and go out in no respective schedules.

I am mid-day person I think. I tend to get lazy during the early morning and late night. But somehow, before late night time, I'll be active for a while before I feel tired and sleepy. And if I want to stay up late at night, coffee won't deliver effect to extend my time to be still awake at late night.

Hi Ivygrey,
You have company-I am a night person too. I find that working on something serious, whether official or personal, is easier in the night then in the day. In daytime. noises, disturbances, interruptions etc make it difficult for you to concentrate.
But in the night, it is relatively easy.
But the one thing that you have to guard against is in the night time seems to go very fast. Coupled with the fact that so many thoughts come to our mind when the daytime filter is not there, there is a tendency to start many things and finish none. I don't know about you but this happens to me.

I am the same like you. I am usually a morning person. I wake up early all the time and does most of my work in the morning. I feel great working on daytime rather than during evening. Although, I sleep at around 11 pm or 12 midnight, I still wake up early. I guess, I have this habit of waking up early no matter what time I sleep at night.

I'm a morning bird I'm always full of energy in the mornings and then in the afternoon I feel my energy levels slowly dragging down.
By the time the sun sets, all I'm looking forward to is dinner and sleep.

I'm a morning person and my wife is a "night owl". I start falling asleep by about 10 in the evening and I am usually up by 6 in the morning.
