How is this stimulation our economy????

From giving cocaine to monkeys to putting in new windows at a closed visitor center, our tax money at work. These projects do not create or save jobs, they just waste tax payer money.

i looked at the first link and that was nowhere near as funny as i was hoping for. disease screening for examples sounds sensible. however i did like the new furniture bill. i am sure a bit of digging would provide some far better examples of wasted money than the gop found.1 person likes this

what a lot to wade through. why was the type so big? anyway some of those were sensible, some might be sensible (honey bee studies for example might be enormously important to agriculture) and some were stupid. you'd need to investigate most of them properly to know which fell into which category and not just go by the headline. although i'd like to see an explanation for the money spent watering a golf course.

That is all our government is good for anymore. There is no oversight. There is no safeguards. they take the money from us and spend it on craziness...then demand more money for us when they run out.
At what point are we allowed to say no more?

Hi friend,
Many of the goverments in the whole world has the nerve to give money easily because it did not come from them but from the blood , sweat , and tears of taxpayers.
They will give here , give there without asking the permission the rightful owner ( the taxpayers of course ) of the money if they could use it to save the economy.
When shall we get rid of giant bedbugs??
