ESPN is reporting that Brett is retiring. Haven't I heard this before? Brett reminds me of the boy who called wolf. I really won't believe it until the season starts without him.I like him and I hope he will be well but I don't trust a word he says when it comes to retirement. How about you?

Well like we all know its all up in the air lol. He is a bigger tease than the finest woman in the world. He has never texted his teamates about retiring but it could be a good trick. Like all things we have to just wait and see because you never know. People thought T.O. was never gonna be sign but look at him. Until then dont get antsy like your waiting on the newest hottest movie.

I will not believe it until he has signed his retirement papers and they are on Commissioner Roger Goodell's desk! Favre has done this before and it looks like he is doing it again! FAvre only cares about himself and no one else! He loves playing this mind game! He loves driving people insane! What makes even angrier is he pulled this on the Packers, more then once! Then it was now the Jets! Now it is the Vikings! I'll beleive it when I see it!

Amen to that! I don't believe it either. Sounds like another publicity stunt! Just retire already! NO offense, Brett, but you're too old to be playing pro football! Get over it and grow up! Can you tell I'm not a bit Brett fan? Sure, he was one of the greats, will probably go to the HOF but it's time for him to move aside and let someone else have a chance. I hope there aren't any teams desperate enough to sign him for his next 'comeback'!

Again!! :) I mean how many times is one allowed to retire and come back!! I think they should book him for cheating the public who paid that extra money to see him play the last time around and then he comes back and they again need to pay more money to make that claim :)
Cheers!

I also like him and I am a big Vikings fan...but after the game with New Orleans I can see why he would call it quits....they made a special point of clobbering him whenever they could...At his age it's tough to keep up with the kids....

I just heard one of those NFL experts being interviewed on the radio. He was asked where he would be at the opening of the season. He said that he picked a Minnesota game because he has a feeling that you-know-who would be there again.
So, until I see it for myself. That a season already halfway through without Brett Farve, only then will I believe that he is already retired.
