Ive just joined up with a couple of sites. Triond and HubPages. I must say that as well as the earning money aspect, Im enjoying the overall experience of writing things and seeing them published. The money doesn't seem to be that good at Triond as it depends on how much traffic you get. I have integrated google adsense and amazon ads to my pieces though so hopefully I might get a little something from them. But yeah, its pretty cool writing articles...Its fun and the possibilities are limitless. Does Anyone here like doing it too?

I have a couple articles on triond on bukisa, but they earn next to nothing since I'm not good at self-promotion. I do write articles for Demand Studios though, and if you have some good writing experience, I highly recommend checking it out. You earn $15 for 400/500 word articles that mainly get posted on ehow and livestrong. Articles typically take me less than an hour to complete, and you get paid twice every week. It's definitely been a lifesaver as a quick, reliable income source.

I am interested in learning more about Demand Studios. What types of articles do they accept, and is their minimum payout high? That is much better than RS or Helium which is only about 50 cents to a few dollars an article. Sounds too good to be true, is the only thing. Can you give me more info?

I've made over $1000 with them, it's not too good to be true, it's a legit and professional freelancing site. There is no minimum payout, you are paid twice a week to paypal for whatever articles were reviewed before the deadlines (in by Sunday, you're paid Tuesday, and in by Wednesday, you're paid Friday.)
You have to write articles according to the titles available. It is essentially a content mill, but it is the best and most frequently paying one on the internet. You need to fill out their application, attach a resume, and attach a writing sample. Once accepted, you just need to become associated with the process and layout of writing for them. The website itself will explain it in more detail than I can: www.demandstudios.com

Is it open worldwide or just in the US? Because not all sites are available to everyone. Personally I write on Helium and Bukisa. Bukis makes next to nothing. I'm earning more on Helium and I'm gaining a lot of experience with them because of the rating system.

I enjoy writing, too. I like the experience that my works are approved. I have also received several payments from these sites.
I am slowly liking triond because there are so many good people there. It is like Mylot where you get inspiration from. I read a lot of articles from there.
Right now I am very active with Factoidz. I have noticed that my earnings (passive income) are faster there. They have a lower payout rate so I get to experience the fruit of my labor, which will further inspire me to write more.

Yes, I love writing and I've had quite a few articles published on Helium as well as Triond! I think I favour Helium above all else though, I definitely like their rating system. Most of my articles on Helium focus on creative writing! I guess this is a form of escapism for me and I just enjoy the creative process and releasing those thoughts!
I guess the more articles you have published the better chance you have of earning something worthwhile. I'm still struggling with the writing process, there are times when I just don't visit the site at all. I think the very fact that we are writing here on My Lot, this definitely helps to improve our communication skills as well as our writing technique. I don't think I will ever become a published author but I think it's nice if you can earn a little something for your writing. Andrew

I am also a member of triond and hubpages, and quite enjoying seeing my articles published in the net. For me, it's not about making money from articles but the fulfillment and satisfaction it offer. I am very inspired having heard lots of people appreciate what I write and what I publish.

Hi, Thumb.:-)
Yes, I do love to write articles. As a matter of fact, I am a member of three sites, TRIOND, EXPERTSCOLUMN and BUKISA. I've published articles in the first two sites but the last one, I'm still working on it because I am planning to write an article for a cause. I'm halfway done working on the article. I hope it'll get published...
It gives me a therapeutic effect whenever I am writing about something. Moreover, the feeling of hype- ness whenever I see them published.
Keep on, dear.;-)

I'm published on Review Stream, Helium, Triond and Squidoo, my favoirte places are Review Stream and Helium, and it's nice to know that people are reading what I write. I also like it when my reviews are helpful to people.

I used to have blogs.. I'm not really on Triond anymore..used to. I've stopped and have been concentrating on blog posts creation so far. I think the concept is the same as you've mentioned.. just that there may be slightly more traffic in content writing sites than on blogs, unless one promote actively then there will be a good rise in traffic for blog creation. The advantage of a blog is the 100% revenue, as compared to sharing revenue with content writing sites.. good luck with your writings and hope you succeed.

I write for Helium and have made a couple of hundred dollars there. Most of my money I make from upfrotn payments rather than hits because I'm not too great at promoting. I can get friends to read my articles but its hard to get enough hits to make payout. I have alot of fun with the site though. I think Helium is just for USA and Eurpoe though. I also like Reviewstream but they upped the number of words you have to have in an article which is annoying. The pay is low (mostly 50 cents per 300 word reveiw) but they pay promptly and its relatively easy to make payout if you work at it.
Haven't tried any others. But the two I mentioned do pay and are at least reliable.
