Lost fanatics..

I'm a huge lost fan, but i'd never pay money beyond internet and cable TV to any show. I know a guy who was so sucked into the show, that the time he didn't spend watching the show was used to find other addicts and create lost "theories".

I like "Lost" a lot, but I'm not a fanatic. I don't have any memorabilia, but if I came across a cool poster or something I might buy it. Spending a lot of money for some rare item related to the show is definitely NOT something I'd do! I'll by the DVD set of the final season, though, because it had a lot of information and plot development in it, and it is supposed to have new material that sheds light on the story.

I really liked the show up until the ending which I was not happy with. I have been watching reruns twice a weekend for some time now and they are approaching the ending. I don't know if they will continue with reruns and go back to the beginning or not once they show the final episode. However, I am not such a fanatic that I have bought any memorabilia, not even a dvd.

The repeats will go on forever so how long can a fanatic go on? Your friend will go into rewind soon enough. I liked that show because you could miss it for weeks and not miss anything! Startrek and Babylon5 had these same type of followers. They still come out of the woodwork every so often but they are generally harmless.
