remote

For some reason it seems that the men always control the remote. Fortunately my better half and I like the same things for the most part so it really isn't a problem here. When I was with my ex however we really didn't like the same stuff and I rarely got to watch what I wanted so I normally did other things. I was into doing crafts, ceramics, pretty heavy at the time so I usually worked on them or played my guitar.

I have sole control of my remote. Until I get a new wife, no one other than me controls the remote

I'm single, so I get the remote to myself. Growing up, my dad got the remote, but when my sister and I were teenagers, my parents let us choose two hours a week of our own choice even if both of my parents were in the room and wanted to watch something else. So that was kind of cool.

75% of the time it is my 9 year old who controls the remote. Hubby and I are usually sitting with her but we are on our laptops. I only watch football and use to watch American Idol. Didn't watch much of last year's and will probably not much of this coming season.

We have tvs in the bedrooms aswell as the kitchen also in our conservatry.I find that even with all the tvs having free view on them,we all still prefer to watch the large tv in the living room as that has sky on it.I think that my husband has the controls evert night,but to be honest we watch the same sorts of things aswell as we are on our own pcs at the same time as watching the tv.

I wouldn't call it diplomatic, but when I ask for a show that I wanna watch, the fiance is most of the time very nice enough to share and watch the show with me. And vice versa when he wants to watch something. Though in most cases, we both watch the same things anyway. I have to say our favorite station is USA. We enjoy Royal Pains, White Collar, and Psych.
