How to make a youtube account with out a cell phone plz help!

my cell phone got all wet and stuff and it's not working and i dont have the money to buy a new one and i need a youtube account but it says i need a cell phone to verifie the thing but i cant becuse i dont have a cell phone is their any other way to make a youtube account without a cell phone plz help plz and thank you

That's. . .weird. When I signed up for Youtube they didn't ask me for anything like that. All I needed for verification was my email address.

how long ago did you sign up becuse i think they changed it in the beging of the year and i wish i could make a account it's not right becuse not a lot of people have cell phones
