earning money on mylot / myLot

OK, I know there's an FAQ and all, but I've read it and still have questions. First, what does that number by name mean? The one that I think right now says "nisa764, 14". Also, do you get money by commenting and rating? what if someone rates your post best post, do you get extra? I guess I'm a bit confused. I'm new here and just want to make some extra cash.

Hi nisa, I'm also quite new here in mylot but I pretty much know stuff because there are lots of posts here about helping us newbies. well im confused on one thing when ever igo to check my home address i can not see and when ever i write it over there i dont see anything say save or upadte why is that ..

actually the way they pay our activity here is unknown but the number in your name is the counter of how many activity you have done/create
