when you get married? how many children would you like to have...For me..I have to consider my financial resources first... i would like to have minimum of one child and a maximum of two if the budget allows..There are a lot of things to consider... Food and clothing.., medications of the baby... and of course the tuition when the time comes...and the prices of goods are increasing nowadays but the salaries are not... =(

most of us have to limit the number of children because of financial limitations... and that's the best that we can do to avoid budget deficits..=0

I want 4 but I don't know if that's financially feasible. If it is, then I'll have 4, 2 of which will be adopted. If it's not financially feasible, then 2 would suffice. I wouldn't have just 1 though. Because that would be too lonely for that one kid. I was 1 of 4 children in my family - and all my siblings and I get along. And it's always fun when we have a get together. I want my kids to be able to say the same about their siblings and their family.

yeah it's fun when you are many children in the family.. i am the eldest of 7 children.. 5 of us are girls and 2 youngest brothers... we end up at this number because my dad was hoping to get a son and the long awaited son was the 6th and the 7th child...i am happy at home..me and my siblings are really close... as much as i wish to have a family as large as my family... the financial constraints wouldn't allow me...=(

My kids are grown up now, and there were times I wished I had one more child. I have 2 kids and 5 grandkids tho. So I am happy.

for me, one is enough. because my sister already have a son, so they are like brother and sister. and another problem is money. if you have so many children and don't have a high paying job then that's a really big problem. :) imagine having so many kids, going to school, giving them food, clothes, shoes, milk for the baby. etc. etc. so one is good enough for me.

although if i do get girls that'll be fine too

i'll probably just have 2
2 dozens!!!

basically my financial position is also not so good now. at first i have to clear all my debts. then i'll marry. from my teenage i'm thinking of giving birth to 1 boy and 1 girl. but its not dependent on us. it our luck and fate. so i decided to do one thing. i.e., i'll give birth to one gender and i'll adapt the other gender. so that i can fullfill my wish and i can give life to atleast one on earth.

I think that children are not only a financial matter, but an emotional one. I know many cases where the family is poor, but there are many children, at least 4 or 5. The family is very strong, all members have solid connections between them. So I think that the financial issue is not on a first place. If you spoil to much the child or children, they will be to comfortable in their lives and that will do them more bad than good. Of course, you will need some things to raise children, but love and care come on first place and not money or other material things.

i want to have 2 children.. I don't want to have a lonely single child.. then if my finances allows me, then i'll have 3..
well, some may solely base the number of children to their financial capabilities..
as for me, i just don't consider my financial capabilities but i also should consider the time that I have for the child.. the energy of taking care of them and giving them emotional support..
so that's it.. not just money, but we have to consider whether we can give enough time and attention to all our children..

I want to have 3 children.. And you're right, we really have to consider our financial status. I know this family with 8 children, too many. tsk tsk tsk.. But I can't blame them, they are one of the richest family here in our city. But as much as possible, don't bare too many children to prevent overpopulation. hehehe. be blessed! :)

I'd like 3 or 4, but it is really hard to plan these things, so I have no idea if that will happen or not. I guess I will just have to wait and see...

when i get married and God has trust in me to bear a child i would rather to have twin, a boy and a baby girl. i do agree that considering family financial condition also important in deciding how much children we would have and i guess twin or two baby is quite enough. having a twin may sound good to hear. imagine we have two babies at once...hmm, i cant wait for that.. may God hear me and makes it into real...amien..

I also agree with you. If financial conditions allow, I have a children. The cost to feed a child from childhood into adulthood is a large money. And I would consider the second child was born.
