I dont know what's wrong with me but I really have trouble sleeping. There are are times when I am very tired during the day and I feel very sleepy but when I lie down on bed, I dont feel sleepy anymore. I could only sleep at 2 am and wake up at 7 pm. In the afternoon I used to take a nap but I also cant sleep. I feel very tired already. Help me! What should I do? What's wrong with me?

p3ks626,
I agree with some of the ones who have posted before me. I think the most likely cause is an over-active mind--and that may or may not be stress. Try to pray befroe you go to bed and focus on what you are grateful/thankful for...it's amazing what a change in mindset can do to ease the mind. It also helps to get into a regular sleeping pattern as your body will tend to get programmed to it. I also agree with one of the others who said that you might want to see a doctor...sounds like good advice to me if it persists. Good luck!

If I go to the doctor, I think the doctor is going to tell me the same things and that I should clear my mind of worries and other things and I should not be stressed out. I think the only time I can take a rest is when its weekends and when I am having a vacation.

Hi p3ks626,
There is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes i feel very lazy and sleepy during the day time but after i lie on my bed at night closing my eyes, trying to sleep, i don't fall asleep soon. I don't know why that happens but i am trying to avoid sleeping in the afternoon because that is giving me trouble sleeping soon at night.

Thanks for saying nothing's wrong with it cause I really think something is really wrong with me. It has been like this for days already and I think I am not getting enough sleep. Its possible to avoid taking a nap in the afternoon but it makes me feel dizzy.

Hi,
Its just that you are totally bogged down with unnecessary worries. Probably you are being extremely engaged in your work, or, may be anticipating some change in near future. When you are extremely tired you may have trouble sleeping. I think you should do some meditation before going to bed. Try to read some good books, preferably scriptures, before going to sleep. It has been stated by some scientists that watching movies or doing tasks in computers before going to bed may potentially cause sleeping disorder. Start your day with meditation and yoga and drink plenty of water during the day. Try to avoid spicy food until you recover. Thanks.
God bless you

I am not really worried about anything but I have plenty of things to do. I think I am extremely engaged in work and other stuff that I really cant say if I have some sort of rest or something.
Anyway, thanks for the tip regarding avoiding spicy food and drinking plenty of water. I should do that.

I think you are so stress. Are you thinking so much these days? maybe your mind is preoccupied of something that even your subconscious is troubled. I felt this way before when I worked in the office as early as 5:30 am and go home at 10 pm,I couldn't even take a nap in the afternoon even if I'm at home.
Set free your self of thinking and doing work which you are not used to before so that at least you can relax your mind and eventually your body will ask you to sleep. happy mylotting!

I dont have anything to think about but I have so many things to do. I also have a break and I can take a nap sometimes but my nap is not a nap at all cause I really cant feel that I am sleeping or taking a rest. I think I need to get used to this already. I think this week is the start of a very busy week for me.

Now, does this problem has something to do with you wanting to get pregnant? Maybe you're just stressing yourself too much. And maybe this is one of the reasons that you can't get preggers. Or are you already on the family way?
Anyway, I hope you find a quick solution for this so you could get healthy sooner.
And eat well!
Have a vegetable roll at Dencia's!

You appear to be suffering from chronic anxiety and stress; there is nothing wrong with you. Why not try the new technological way to solve the problem of sleep troubles and stress. It is called brainwave entrainment audios. This article will tell you how the audios work:

and at this site you can get free samples of the audios to try.

I had similar symptoms for a long time and sleeping pills were not solving the problem and the constant fatigue was wasting me away. These audios have reversed everything, thanks to a friend who suggested it.
