I believe black(cocoa) Chocolate is good for health ,Good or Bad ?

Many consulting doctors advice their patients to take black(coc0a)chocolates regularly.
However physicians and therapist advices their patients to consume limited quantity of
black chocolates.i was surprised by such advices.
After proper guidance form my doctor friend,I was convinced about positive benefits of black chocolates.It is a good source of antioxidants and helpful in preventing cancer and many brain related ailments.
I also caution about weight gain risk from chocolate.
That is why I think about cocoa chocolate's other benefits or drawback? Do You Know?

Well medically they say dark chocolates are good anti oxidant and good for health. I feel black chocolates sometimes taste bitter due to more cocoa..i like milk chocolates.

dark chocolate is actually very good and very healthy. just like what jerikjames has mentioned in the post above, cocoa is rich in theobromine... the anti-oxidant contained in chocolates as caffein is into coffee. it's a healthy substance that (like caffein is into heart/nerve stimulant) that releases a serotonin-like effect... responsible for the feeling of joy. hehe
chocolates, however are available in many forms... candies, bars, drinks, ice cream, cakes and other sweets. now that's the difference between eating healthy and the not so. the added sugar, milk and other fatty solids are what make the chocolate contribute to weight gain... not the dark chocolate per se.
at present i really have my daily dose of tsokolatte drink with an extract of agaricus mushroom. i found that i could enjoy my drink without guilt and able to improve my immune system. i haven't had a cold or asthma attack since i started my regular intake of this beverage along with other food supplements.

Black cacoo Chocolate it is good for our health. Of course it is important not eat in excess.

Everything you said about chocolate is true. Eating chocolates could both be good and bad. It's good because a lot of its contents are beneficial to our body. Theobromine for instance, is a good stimulant yet it's slightly weaker than caffeine. Chocolate, especially black, also contains antioxidants which help in cell regeneration and cell repair. But like what I've said in a lot of discussions here, everything in excess is bad. Chocolates also contain caffeine which are good stimulants, but if you take a lot would excite your nerves.
Everything has benefits and drawbacks at the same time. Two sides of a coin.

For me chocolate also have a benefits in our body whether its black or white, but if you intake a lot of it maybe i can affect your body.
