Yes! I will resign soon because I'm really sick and tired of my employer. He does not give us any additional benefits like bonus, medical/dental etc. I'm already a regular employee in the company (yes, 1 year is long enough!!! i do not want to be like this anymore ) yet he did not give me an increase in my salary. The company has many projects right now and for that i believe that these are overflowing blessings since it's just a start-up company after all. Mind to share the blessings, eh?
Love your employees and they will be motivated to do their best in their work. They will be the assets in the company that will lead to great profit or income of the company.
This is my self realization. I'm not saying you have to agree with me, it's okay. I just want to share what I feel right now. Thanks, mylot!!!

hi there! at least i know that i have some companions on the same situation! hahaha! well yeah! need to kick the as* of the management. hahaha! kidding. i mean kick off the job. and one more thing, the working environment is MESSY! it's not conducive for working. i easily get irritated now because of the mess in our office. we are not comfortable here. yes! it feels like i have the worst employer since this is only my first job. not a good experience when it comes to the employee-employer relationship.
thank you for sharing your experience!

True! In an employer-employee relationship, both parties should be happy and contented! And for both parties to be contented, the two should be properly compensated! The employer needs to receive excellent service from the employees, and the employees should receive the compensation that they truly deserve given that they are giving their 100% on their job.
Happy MyLotting!

you are really right! that's the lacking part in our company. so sad. ewe're giving our best but then they're not giving what we deserve have. oh well that's their prerogative but somehow they should feel that their employees need some appreciation too. thanks for the response!

Hello, I'm with you on your opinion, your employer should give you additional benefits now that you've been a loyal employee for over a year.
Maybe you should first bring the concern in front of them, and if nothing happens then leave it company?
Best of luck!

well, i'm considering that step before BUT i just realized that if they really want to increase our salary, they should have the initiative to do so. honestly in other company, they are monitoring the regularization of their employees. unlike in our situation, it's as if they don't care at all. that's just so sad.
thanks for the response. i'll be updating my resume and hope to have interviews to other companies real soon.

With so many people desperate for a job, your employer won't care if you resign. There's someone out there ready and eager to take your place.

have you tried talking to your employer about your compensation? or maybe you should ask your fellow employess to write a letter addressed to the employer about your problems and other benefits. it would be nice if you will do it that way. open communication is the best answer to your problem

Have you resigned already?
I also think it's good to quit from your employer, as the company doesn't provide essential benefits. For employees, I think bonus, medical allowance are quite basic. If there are other opportunities out there, it's good to just go out and take a look. You might get one that you like.
Good luck! ^_^

Well, I know what you are going through. I actually just resigned from a job that I enjoyed doing until certain aspects of it caused me problems. I am now waiting to start my new job tomorrow. It is hard when people can't work with you and do the right things.
Good luck on the pursuit for a new job@!

I totally agree with you, if not for the company's employees, then all those good things happening to them won't be possible. I hate employers who doesn't value their employees and who doesn't realize that when the employees feel that they are important and that they are an integral part of the company then they would really do their best in their work, and would benefit the company in the end.. I say go and find another company that will really appreciate your hard work. .

Well, if you find another job with better treatment than the current one, you can say goodbye to them right now. Right now, the job market is tough, and many people still seeking work. Hope that you can find another one soon!

Hi, you must be feeling upset right now with your job and the company you are connected with. I agree with your views that if the company is really weak on benefits and compensation to its employees while it has a good financial standing; then employees will really move out. Just sharing a business opportunity you may want to try which will make you love yourself and your health. My company could be your company too. It's a shared blessing with minimum investment only. Everything is there, all the information you need to know.

i know hot i feels to be working in that kind of environment and situation... if you think resigning is the best option then that wouldn't be a problem..but i just want to give you a piece of advice...think about it first a couple of times before you finalize it... remember.., it's not easy to find a job nowadays... and most people would even opt to working with ill mannered boss just for the sake of earning something...=)
