My 9 year old Doggy twitching his ear nose, legs, and he's breathing heavily. Is it normal ? or what's going on? Is he probably dreaming! my dog shakes and kicks his legs as if hes running ???

Yes, he is dreaming, my dog does this too, even though not all the time. I think it is really cute! My dog also 'eats' in his sleep too, and makes weird noises.

yep, dreaming, my cats do it too, in fact, right after Taj was sick, and had his surgery I caught him eating in his sleep - well, lapping and making swallowing sounds

Yea. Most probably, I saw my dog sleeping once and I was watching it at the time. He was moving in his sleep as if he was running and he just woke then then started to run off somewhere. It was pretty funny if you asked me. Haha

we humans have a ''mechanism'' in our brain that prevents us of move during a dream,But the animals do not have that ''mechanism''.
