Hello to my fellow mylotters. Just now I submitted my very first review to review stream and yet I get rejected. Firstly, it shows the message "your review is not valuable and we do not interested in it". Then I tried to improve the review and submit once again, what i got is "your submission has been processed. Unfortunately, we do not interested to buy your review". I am not even qualify for the bulk rate. [Laugh] So do you all have any guide or tips to write a high quality review that review stream want or just share your idea on how to get the review approved. Thanks.

As someone who writes for Review Stream and has been paid by them a lot, here are some tips: 1. Make sure your review is at least 250 words. They only accept reviews that are at least 250 words, make sure you have written at least that many words in your reviews. 2. The bulk rate is your friend. Unless the item you're reviewing is rather expensive, like high end electronics, or more expensive items, or if your review is at least 500 words or very well written, they do not pay $2.80 for the review. Books, movies, TV episode reviews will not be paid at full rate, for those, accept the bulk rate. 3. These reviews must be mostly your opinion. They want your opinion, so don't get too detailed on what you're reviewing, unless your describe the detail and what you liked or disliked about it. 4. Spell check your review. They tend to reject reviews if they have poor spelling and grammar. These are some tips for getting your reviews accepted by Review Stream. Remember not to post your review anywhere else after it has been published or you will be banned from the website. I hope this is helpful to anyone who is being rejected by Review Stream.

You're welcome. Here's another tip: For bulk rate make sure to write more than 250-word review and for regular rate more than 400 words will do, depending with the product that you're writing about. Just follow the tips in the article and you're good to go. Don't lose heart. It's just the dilemma of a newbie. You'll get hang of it, and constantly earning beyond this stage.

Hi Huey, I also write for review stream, and the secret to getting paid reviews is the number of words.. When you submit and they outright rejected it, then you lack the minimum number of required words (although they never included this in their requirements), in my experience, you mostly need to have atleast 250 word review and that's for the bulk rate. For the full rate, you should atleast write around 600 word count reviews. The most reviews that gets paid easily are the travel related, restaurants, hotels, and cosmetics. Stay away from books, websites and movies because a lot of reviews have already been written about that. Make sure that your grammar is correct. And the number one rule in writing reviews, make sure you tell them HOW YOU FEEL. Use "I" or "WE". It's a matter of how you feel about the product, did you find it useful, did you think that it delivered what it promised. Don't describe, they would just reject it, and use a lot of adjectives. Hehehe. I hope this would help you in your writing.. I have been a sending them reviews for a couple of months and I have received my first payment last month. It's just a matter of practice, and you would soon get the hang of it, and every review would be approved and paid.

Don't let a rejection of your work discourage you. As long as you believe in yourself and keep trying, success will come. Learn from the criticisms and don't take them to heart. Good luck to you in your endeavors!

Hi Huey365, they do have a "guide" there on "How to Write a Review on ReviewStreams.com, it is here = http://www.reviewstream.com/how-to.php My 2nd review with reviewstreams was also not accepted but all my other submissions were okay but were bought at bulk rate. I still can't figure out what type of review is worth $2.50. ^_^

I was on review stream, and exactly the same thing happened to me. I couldnt help but feel the site was a scam, as they said that they will not refuse any (by using the bulk rate), and i didnt get the bulk rate either! I just have this feeling that they do this to get free reviews for stuff.

I don't think it is a scam but it is very strict. I can see a lot of payment proofs from the net and also positive testimonials from its users.

Dear Huey365, I also been submitting a lot of reviews in one day. 2 out of 6 reviews will be accepted. I don't know what's wrong with my reviews only RS knows. Try your best by following the rules and tips to write good reviews and see other people's reviews as well to get exactly what is a good review. Then you will know how to write a good one. Wish you all the best!

Read the news on top for updates. Reviewstream announced that others are also reviewing your reviews; it's not just the admin alone doing the job. In this case, we have to please more people of our writing, and this challenges us even more. Cheer up. Last year they increase the regular rate to $2.50 from $2.00 and the bulk rate from .40 to .50. Maybe this December, they could make it to $3.00; let's just hope for the best. Keep on writing!!!

Maybe you should try a little bit harder, though i don't participated in review stream, i hopes this can help you a little bit, write a review about the hottest talk nowadays, or the latest gadget review that a lot of people search about it, and your review should make people believes that the things that you have been reviewed is valuable to them, the review that they can trust and follow

Hi Huey, Maybe they did not find the content that valuable, but it does not mean you cannot submit more content. Sometimes they get too many reviews on 1 particular product, that is the time they get quite choosy, there is no harm in trying again, I hope you succeed this time. Good Luck & God Bless

I also forgot to mention if your review is rejected, you could rewrite it, add more to it and resubmit it, I've had reviews that were rejected and I rewrote them and they were accepted.

I agree, in fact if it didn't work the first time try it next month. Make a few changes with the title, and improve the content and resubmit it. But for the past few months I think they are becoming more strict. The key is to write it the best way you can the first time, so that you don't have to resubmit. It wouldn't hurt that much if you're weren't aiming for $2.50. Write a few for bulk rate then go back writing for regular rate as this will change your mood and give you boost to aim higher again.
