I saw this Movie Madarasapttinam , former name of my city Chennai before Freedom..
This was a quite good love story subject an English girl falling in Love with an Indian Man..
The way the movie had the screen play was excellent..
The theme music was very excellent...
The also describe about the place and the folks during the 1940's....
A true love story and everybody must watch it...
The love story after the TITANIC which has stayed in everybody's heart...

Hello,
Madarasapattinam is an excellent film.The director was so good enough that he directed the film in an interesting way.I love the way in which the actors acted.This is the first film i have seen a heroine from a foreign country according to me.Arya have also stunned the people with his acting.I think kollywood is always better than Hollywood.Thanks for the discussion

Director has played a major role...He has written the story in a simple mode..
His previous movie Kiereedam(Ajith) is also simple and stunning..

I have been to the city Madras once. That was when the name has not been changed yet. A beautiful impressive city. The people were very nice , friendly. I missed the opportunity to go to a movie theatre and enjoy the Madrasi movies. I have heard alot about the movies. I hope the next time I visit, I would be able to go to a theatre.

Well, everything is new in the city !!!! The old things have been refurbished and have a great look...
It's a metropolitan city with everything u need to have..
The theaters are especially nice!!!!

It is a great movie which is similar to Titanic. credits for the team to show the old madras. Madraspattinam a movie to watch.
