There are lots of cases we see in the news when we just let our kids be taken care of by nannies or our own relatives. We all have been aware of this. Are you really concerned about your child being molested by their nanny or house helps and the worst is your own relative? We are too busy with our work and we forget to think that this MIGHT really happen. how would we know if this is happening now to our own children?

I don't have children but I call attention to all the parents and quasi-parents here: NEVER PUT ANY GLASS NEAR YOUR CHILDREN'S BED BEFORE THEY CAN MOVE FREELY THEMSELVES! The lesson came from my blood! When I was a baby and couldn't walk myself, for getting a toy far from my bed for me, I fell down and broke the glass gate of the cupboard. The fragment of the glass hurt me on my face and left a deep scar. It can still be seen clearly now 22 years later. Nevertheless, I must thank goodness because if it had been 0.5 centimeters up, one of my eye would have blinded at that time.

Thank you for this warning to all of the parents out there who will be able to see this topic. It is good that it didn't hit your eye when that accident happened. Thank God for that. Have a great week ahead.

Hi, I am so blessed that I am at home taking care of my own son...so nothing to worry about his danger. WHat I am concern more is his attitude at school and the food he is taking at school. I am very health conscious and I always want him to eat healthy food. Those junk food and fried foods are not suitable for my son.

that is a great thing that you can be there for your children always. the only thing that would matter now is when he is out there. I hope and wish all the safety for your child. Have a great week.

I am very aware that something like this could happen. I do not let anyone else watch my kids except for their grandparents. They are not left alone with anyone. Ways to tell if this is happening to your child are change of behavior, types of questions that are asked for instance them asking if something inappropriate is normal, all of a sudden not wanting to see that person (afraid). I agree that there are people that basically shrug off their kids on someone else while they do other things. But then again there are people that have no choice in this matter. It is very important to be there for your child.

Thank you so much for the nice response. We would be able to detect these things are happening if they turn from being lively to be quiet and just wanted to be with themselves. You should really get alarmed with it.
