I'm not sure if this question will be deleted or not.. But I was wondering if you can earn more than 40 cents a day on mylot. I've hit 40 cents dead on a few times but never went over.
Does mylot say anything about max earnings for participation?

hello for3verfamous,
I never hit .40cents ever since I have been here. I am glad you did. I am not sure but if I was betting lady i would say yes you make more .40 cents in one day. You may ahve to do tasks under the tasks to get more money or write and answer more and rate the people anwering your questions. Good English I always feel is important here too and lenght of your answers to the questions.
I hope you beat .40 cents.
Good Luck.
Sincerely unique16

Your comment about good English having to do with earning may not be accurate. We have many members who speak and write English as a second language. As long as I can understand what the person is attempting to communicate, spelling and grammar is not important to me. I also think there is a discussion guideline that tells us we cannot rate a comment on English.
Prosperous mylotting

No, there is no limit on how much you can earn a day in mylot.
It does depend on your activity, whether you post quality posts and also the quantity.. When you do more posts a day, and quality ones, you will get the most out of it.. (And it does help if you do have referrals that are active)
This also depends on your star rating as well.. If you have a higher star rating, most of the time, you can get a higher amount of money and also when you get best rated discussion, you'll earn more..

I know, it's hard to get referrals.. it irritates me as well that everyone just doesn't want to sign up for something that can give you a little for something that almost everyone likes to do.. talk!! lol

I know I could really use some referrals. I've been trying so hard but people tend to think this is some scam of a get rich quick scheme and won't sign up!
Looks like I'll have to get that star rating up there then

Want a tip to bump it past that amount?
Comment, comment, comment and then comment some more.
Further the topic.
IOt doesn't matter where, whthere it is on your own started discusions or in a response box that you leave on a discussion started by others but the more you comment, the more you are discussing - and that is what myLot is all about.
Oh by the way, that is not my advice. It is what mylot tell us in the FAQs but those that do ut are certain that it works
"post discussions, respond to discussions, comment on discussions...
generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic"

POST = the topic which starts the discussion.
RESPONSE = the responses that others give on the original starting post
COMMENT = a response to a response, sometimes on our own discussions and sometimes on responses by others.
I have done many, many more than that number because it does not include comments that I make on my own started discussions. The comments further the topic and are sometimes only one word if that is all that is required-

I always see you helping the newbies on discussions that eventually get deleted. I can't imagine what your post count would be if those discussions were still there..

I feel not only how much comments you write, the quality of comments is also very important. you have written around 16207 comments, so what you say?

I don't think that there is any limit to earn per day,but still i am also not confirm. If there is no limit really , i will try to earn $1 per day , but i know that would need great time ,effort and participation.

$1 per day will be a good income, but I think it needs lot of time to be spent on Mylot. How much time you people spend on myLot and on an average how much money you are earning per day?

Yea that would definitely be hard and would probably require being on mylot for the entire day. You can earn a dollar a day here.. But if you try to do it only by responding to discussions it takes longer.
Yesterday I did one of the write an article taks, It took me 40 minutes to write and then I got paid $1.50. It's a good income for a day.. But I wouldn't try to earn that much with only replied, that's really time consuming, the tasks are more difficult but take less time.

I have no idea yet I'm just three weeks from this site and i really don't know how much are they paying per discussions and its responses. I only have .77 cents of earnings right now.

I've been here about 3 weeks too. They don't tell us how much they pay per response/comment. 77 cents is decent, Mylot won't earn you money very quickly but it does add up if you keep posting! happy mylotting!

Yea it just depends on a lot of things. How long your answers are.. how many discussions you respond to.. and if you post discussions. It's hard to figure out because they don't tell us everything.
35 cents is really good for one day of earnings though.

No, there is no limit. I have made over that amount a few times.
If you want to earn, make sure to respond to your responders on any discussions you start.
If a Discussion warrants it you can comment quite a few times.
obviously, the more you have to say, the more you earn.
but quality as well is quantity is always stressed.
Comments that make no sense or do not pertain to the discussion at hand may very well end up deleted.
Don't comment just for the sake of commenting. Make sure you have something to say of value. Or even your opinion on the subject..
Good luck

I can make more than 40 cents a day. If I could make more than 20 posts a day, I could earn more than 40 cents. I made 71 cents on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Furthermore, our earning is not only based on quantity of our post but also quality of our post. Good quality post will result in better earning. There is no certain value for each discussion. The important thing is always make post and avoid from being deleted because deleted responses or discussions will reduce our earning.

Thanks for your answer!! That helps a lot and really clears everything up. I guess earnings depend on many different things.. And I have noticed many of my responses have been deleted because of the topic being deleted.

It ranges from day to day. Yesterday I posted a LOT, about 45 posts. Other times I've posted 10-25 and I had received 40 cents on a couple of those occasions.

You are lucky if you hit 50 cents. So far, I've only hit 12 to 16 cents per day. Poor me!

I'm sure you'll get more than that eventually, you're just starting out.
