what do you BELIEVE?People are born HOMOSEXUAL/ LESBIAN/GAY OR by Choice?

Hi Crazy, I think that it has been shown many times over that gays and lesbians are born that way. Not only that but very few people would choose such a lifestyle if anyone at all. The fact that homosexuality is common in animals is another reason to believe that it's not a choice. It certainly isn't a curse from God, nor is it a sin anymore than being born deaf or blind is a sin. There is nothing wrong with being gay and we should never judge or condemn them but treat them the same as we would any other human being. Blessings.

I think it's all by choice. I always say you can't control who you love. if you love a ugly broke dood, well, you love him and that's what matters. you can't control the other stuff. If you're a guy and you love another guy, well, you can't control that. as long as you're happy that's what matters. No one is born that way.that is just a myth.

I think you're born that way. I have a family member who is gay and I'm pretty sure he was always that way. He never had a girlfriend or anything growing up. I dont think it's a curse but I don't really have an opinion on why people are gay. They just are and that's okay!!

they were genetics. there are some people who born in XXY chromosome. means this person have man and woman inside his body. but environments could affect someone too to chose their gender

I'm not against homosexual at all. It's only the freedom of choosing. Though it may makes me uncomfortable when seeing gays, but I have the right and freedom to move my sight away. I don't think it's a kind of sin because it doesn't bring other persons any bad. As for God, who knows what is he thinking?

OF COURSE PEOPLE DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. Yes, the capitals are necessary. I only wish it appeared first on this discussion. We're not even the only animals that have gays in it. Penguins, elephants, dogs, dolphins, tons of insects, fish, reptiles, etc have all had reports of homosexual behavior. But no, no, the crazies are right, I am sure all these species are just choosing to be gay.

There are different views about this issue but as for me I don't believe that there is someone who is born homosexual. God does not create a homosexual so he could not have probably allow anyone to be an inborn homosexual. Being a homosexual could not be a direct result of one's personal choice for who would choose and abnormal life. I think it is rather acquired or due to influence of people he lives or circulates with.

I believe its all genetic and people don't have a choice at all. Many People know they are different even before going to school. I don't think its a sin and I believe God has made people this way. He is not against homosexuality at all. He would rather that everyone love each other then create all this hatred and crimes against people that are different.

I believe that you are born that way. I have seen many young child and you can just tell. I always knew that my one cousin was gay since he was a very small child. I have seen many times where people wish to be straigh but are not. They are usually religious and they really think that they will go to hell if they are a homosexual. My husband always told me that it was a choice. Well I do home daycare and I have had 2 boys that you can just tell are going to be gay. So I invited him to observe the boys for a bit. He agrees with me now. I know I did see a show that said it could be caused by a baby getting too many of a certin kind of hormone while mom is pregnant. I am not sure. But you are who you are the best we can do in this life is to be happy with ourselves and have a happy life, who cares what your sexuality is.

There are many factors affecting one to be gay. Genes could be one. Also, the environment and lifestlye that one have grown up.
