What is a wah pedal? I went to tasks tonight and after every Sharon Bucks task is the word wah pedal. I don't ever go to tasks and maybe I'm living under a rock but I have never heard that expression and am wondering what it means. Also what is a CrowdCloud, another MyLot term I am totally unfamiliar with. Feeling stupid here!! Thanks in advance for your help..

You're not the only one confused sulsisels, I was too, but ignored it..Then I saw a task that I thought I could do and I thought I did what they asked, (e-mail them) and I got no reply from them..I am so new at doing the tasks, I am totally lost..

There are two friends that might know, one is up to date with mylot and the other I believe does the sharonbucks..I'll PM them this link and see if they can help. Because I still had no contact and wonder if maybe it was a scam to get someone addy..But the address I gave is one I rarely use, so even if it ended up in spam, I can retrieve it easy enough..

Thanks Gerty, I went back knowing there was a good 3 or more days left and the task is not there. But they did give an e-mail address and said to email them..I guess lesson learned, you never e-mail someone for a task?

A wah pedal or wah wah pedal causes special sound effects through your electric amplifier.It is more complicated than that, I did a bunch of freelance articles on those types of things a while back. Crowd Cloud, the way I understand it is a site where you can pick up small tasks and do them and get paid. I understand you have to be in Face Book to do them. It is much like MTurk. If you do not know what MTurk is,it is a site run by Amazon to do "Human Intelligence Tasks" or HITs. Things a computer cannot do without a person. Free to join. Pays into your Amazon account or you can verify a bank account and request payment there.

It was late evening when I went on to look. Long after you had posted. They looked the same then as they do now. That is not to say that they were not changed between your post and mine. I even looked up one online. It may be difficult to write 500 words on one specific type, but information is out there.

GG and Hatley..Either I'm losing my mind or something weird is going on. I just went back into tasks to view again what was posted and now the Sharon Bucks tasks look totally different than they did last night??? The way they are posted now makes sense but what was there yesterday did not. Am I losing it or do they look different to you as well?

sulsisels I have been here three years and I just read the Sharon Bucks tasks too and felt completely stupid. I thought I was the only one as she seemed to think everyone would know what a wah pedal is? If one is not a musician why would we know what that was? Yes and I too do not know what
a CrowdCloud is. help also.

I have been wondering about the same thing. I visited the tasks bar yesterday hoping that I would find a nice task and, yes, all Sharon Bucks tasks are about wah pedal.@sulsisels (1685)

That's exactly what I was thinking! I thought maybe I'd research and see what came up, but I couldn't make any sense out of the results! You're not alone in your confusion. Apparently a lot of users are confused because usually sharonbucks' tasks are gone within a day and here they are, still there!

I know. The search results do a very nice job of telling us what a wahwah pedal for a guitar is but I see no connection to the Sharon Bucks tasks..I'm lost and am too busy to spend any more time on it..

I guess I probably did not answer your question, then. I have not looked at the tasks. Sometimes there is one or another of them that show up and make no sense.
