has anyone worked here as a technical support rep then transferred to a backofc?

I worked as a technical support for almost 3 years and recently APRIL I resigned due to mismanagement of my company although I love the account & troubleshooting as mu job. Right now I worked in a back office set up but still night shift and handles excel spreadsheets everyday, every hour & seconds in the office. Right now I feel emptiness inside because I love to help my customers who are "technically challenged" about computers..COuld you share some of your experiences about changing your job function from technical to back office set up?
