2 and 2 can make 5 if one of the four gets pregnant.

Hi dpk
Quite correct that 2+2 equals 4. At least that's what we have learnt during our schooldays. However when it comes to computer languages, we can expect some funny things happening when we write programs. Some Computer Programming Languages can generate '2' + '2' =22 or even '2' + 2 = 4. Now this happens in some computer programming languages. Some others provide you to change the meaning and functionality of the + symbol to anything that you want and so you can confuse the user with anything that suits your fancy. 2+2 can be 0 (if + = -) or even 1 if + = / (divide). This is called operator overloading and quite some languages support this functionality

Many thanks thesids for elaborating about computer programming. I am not much aware about it and after reading your reply I can understand that 2+2 may not equal to four, in computer programming.

Deepak,
How can you make 2 plus 2 as four? I remember about the marketing technique, buy two get one free, in that case you can make it six instead of five.
Do you want to make me mad?

Sree!
Yours is one of the smartest and most amazing answers, so far. I forgot that sometimes one comes across such a scheme where 'buy one get one free' offer is there, and if that is the case we will get - 2+2 would be = 6.
It is a fun discussion so even if you give some odd answers, you won't be termed as insane.

Yes. Do you want it mathematically?
x = 0
x + 5 = 5
divide by x
(x + 5)/x = 0/x
Therefore solving for x by taking denominator to the other side
x + 5 = 0
or x = -5
Babyface - the flaw here is - division by zero is undefined in mathematics.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Riya, I cannot stop laughing after reading that even if I tell you that 2 + 2 will make 10, you would agree with me.

Yeah, you are right Mayka, such schemes can make two plus two = 5. I liked your witty response. Thanks for sharing.
